After 5 years of loyalty, glowing social media testimonials and referrals to friends and family, a customer care issue drew the line for me with Miles Wilson Hairdressing. My stylist mixed the wrong colour. That's ok. People make mistakes. But rather than admit it, put it aside and mix the right one, I she proceeded to apply the colour. The result was bright ginger roots on dark hair. Seeing I was considerably alarmed at the result, the stylist tried her very best to reassure, suggesting ".. it might settle. See how you go." It didn’t settle. I returned when my hectic schedule allowed and got charged, not only for the colour correction (due to 3 weeks of regrowth), but also for the bodgy blow dry at the hands of another stylist. Appalling customer care and an insult to my loyalty as a customer. An integrity issue that's very disappointing indeed.

After 1.5 years of trying to find a hairdresser in Melbourne who can actually colour blonde hair without stepping out with a blue, purple or golden colour and every other diabolical hair situation I found myself in - and these were all the high end salons in South Yarra, Toork, Port Melbourne, CBD etc who were charging ludicrous amounts of money and including a range of other services I didn't need... I then found Amanda at Miles Wilson who his the most incredibly talented, honest hair dresser in Melbourne who goes above and beyond to deliver the hair colour but how it should be done - not lazy hair dressing with sloppy big foils - just because we can't see them! I seriously couldn't be happier!! Amanda is the best in Melbourne for blonde! And I know as I've tried just about everyone salon in Melbourne and have been left seriously disappointed with terrible hair cuts and colours - first hairdresser in Australia not to give me a toner - all the rest were which was causing the terrible colours. Thank you to Amanda! I can't recommend Amanda enough!!
