Taj On High

The worst ever thing is their google information says it closes at 11pm, i have been about 6 to 7 times and everytime they say dine in closes at 10:00! If i am here at 10:15, also they wont allow dine in and today i went at 9:45 after placing a phone order and i got call back saying the restaurant is quiet and they cant accept dine in! From 9:50 only! I really dont get if we need to go by google information or by their information and also if if was buy or quiet! The staff there cant do anything, poor lady is really polite, but management needs to look at this! As its just loosing customers unnecessarily! Hope for a change atleast or please mention in your google information: saying call us to know if we are busy or quiet to accept dine in!

We had baby shower program held there, entree n tea was awesome. Main dish was also good. The front staff name Babal was really nice person to deal with. I am giving 5 star ratings to her service. She made my program with less hassle. I wish we could enjoy our play list on the function area side. They had a sound box on the ceiling on our function side where they couldn't turn off the speaker and ended up playing their playlist. Hence couldnt have any dance session .

We have eaten here several times and has never disappointed us and tonight the service and food was amazing like always. Taj on High will always be our go to Indian restaurant. We had Tandoori prawns for entre, Chicken Biryani, Beef Rogan Josh and Naan garlic bread all l can say is OMG delicious!!!!

we called taj on high on a weekday just 20-30 minutes before they close. The lady suggested me few items and then she told me about dahi bhalla in the entree. We ordered it and take away was ready very quick. It was one of the fresh and yummy dahi bhalla ever that I ever ate in Melbourne. Super yummy that I ordered it next day also. Dahi bhalla is a must try at Taj on High.

When it comes to looking for authentic food, we always like to take bit time to drive to the neighbourhood where many of particular ethnic group reside. We worked in India for 2 years. So every once a while we would hit an Indian eatery, it brings back some fun memories of India. Taj on High doesn’t disappoint. The flavours are on point. It is spicy, it is flavoursome, it is not overly sweet. The place itself is not hard to find with plenty of car space in front. The waitress was friendly. We didn’t make reservation beforehand. There were plenty of tables when we got there. Overall a very satisfying experience.

Ordered here many times and enjoyed it, but lately so many issues. Wouldn't recommend ordering from here unless you want to eat 2 hours after you ordered, and awful customer service from the restaurant. When I called to ensure my food was still being prepared (an hour and a half after ordering one curry, once rice and a naan bread), the lady who answered told me should would check with the kitchen how much longer it would be and then proceeded to hang up on me. The previous times I have ordered I have had similar issues and the restaurant have been no help. I recommend ordering from one of the many other local Indian Restaurants instead, then you might actually receive your food hot and before you go to bed.
