Gami Chicken & Beer - Epping

The food was good. Had the original flavour fried chicken that had a KFC type taste to it though I preferred this flavour. Service was good ie the food came at a reasonable pace after ordering via a QR code from the table. You can manage your orders and the pace you want to order them in. Place was clean. Overall good dining experience.

Staff did not include the sauces for boneless chicken order, although clearly checked one more time at pick-up; kept repeating they have placed them in the bag when there weren’t any! Staff only offered they will provide some “next time” which doesn’t help with the current order. Poor service for $88.54 that included public holiday surcharge. Please train your staff properly

Food was amazing as it always is at Gami. However staff aren’t very welcoming nor interactive with the new ordering system. Asked for a menu as my partners phone doesn’t QR read & upon receiving one, was reminded that online ordering is preferred. Wanted to order some chips to add on as we forgot but couldn’t be bothered going through the whole process again so didn’t bother.

Be me on a late night at 8:27pm Thursday. -call up just in case kitchen's closing and it's too late to order -order some fried chicken -gets told it's a 15 min wait. Thank staff, no problems. -head to restaurant 15 mins later -wait in line at the counter to ask about my order -staff gives me deer in headlight look -I repeat my name for the order -get response: "oh we didn't put your order through to the kitchen when you called, we'll put your order through again" -gets charged twice on credit card surcharge? I think the 15 year old kid runs a tighter ship at maccas down the road than these jokers
