One of the best full English breakfasts I’ve had. Very nice presentation, with bright orange egg. Everything on the plate was delicious, the tomato perfectly cooked. If I’m being picky I would have preferred more charring on the bacon and sausage but they were delicious anyway. I also would have liked black pudding but not sure if it’s on the menu. The butter and toast were very good as well. Nice outdoor seating and friendly service.

Fantastic place to have breakfast. The atmosphere is posh and elegant, and the healthy breakfast options are a definite plus. As a vegetarian, I appreciate that they offer a good number of dishes suitable for those following a plant-based diet. The friendly and helpful staff also made my experience even more enjoyable. It's always great to be welcomed with a warm smile and helpful service. Overall, I would highly recommend Fred & Dougs to anyone looking for a delicious and healthy breakfast in a sophisticated setting. The ambiance is comfortable, and the decor is tasteful, making for an enjoyable dining experience.

I wanted to try this little place out whilst in Epping for a morning. It's cute, cosy and intimate. I had to wait fifteen minutes or so for a table for one as it was a little busy as I guess it's quite a popular place. Service was quick, I had a delicious vanilla and chai late and beetroot hummus with poached egg and avocado on sourdough toast which was really good. The food is really fresh, they're using good quality ingredients. I also picked up a couple of cakes to takeaway for later and these were really great too. Staff are friendly and polite.

After walking the high street fred & doug looked the best, so glad we stopped in! Beautifully decorated, simple with a few tables. Cakes were delicious 🎂 I don't normally like my hot chocolate in a glass but it was perfect temperature so I was able to pick up, so chocolatey, just perfect! Friendly staff and can't wait to come back!
