I have visited here a few times but most recently came here with a friend for lunch. I had my little girl with me and the staff were very accommodating with giving us a table with enough space for the pram. The decor is lovely and clean. Service was great and 2 lovely staff members helped me get out of the car park as 2 cars had parked very tightly next to me.

Went for lunch today.
Had lamb, creamy potato and veg with a rich sauce on the side.
Omg!
The lamb was ridiculous, soft, tasty and moist.
The jue was rich and tasty - lovely.
The rest was lovely, and a nice amount too.
'Our lady' was friendly, polite and informative.
Nice wall lights!

We celebrated my husband’s birthday here last week. We had excellent service from Ioana, honestly she made our experience more relaxing as she fully understood the needs of our autistic son and made him/us feel welcome. The food was delicious, the steak is really well cooked to order and the children’s meals were enjoyed very well. Nice atmosphere too. We will be back!

Lovely decor and nice atmosphere. The chefs special recommended by our lovely waitress Nina was amazing. Service couldn’t have been better. My friend and i will definitely be back 👍😊

Met up with my friend for a ladies mid week catch up over dinner and wine. We were served by Ioana and she was brilliant, attentive and even making sure my steak was cooked perfectly…which is was. The George has a lovely cozy atmosphere and time seems to fly by so quickly in there. I’ll be coming back for sure 😊

Service was great,and the lady, whom I think may have been a manager was very accomodating. We wanted a quiet area which she found for us although very busy.
Sunday lunch was OK. We all had the trio. The pork my partner had was all fat no meat however mineral meat with a little fat which melted in the mouth. Desserts were nice. Might not go back for Sunday lunch but would definitely return and try the normal menu.

We came here to celebrate my friend's birthday. We had a lovely evening. The restaurant has lovely decor and it felt cozy and had a nice vibe. The food was delicious and so were the cocktails. The prices were reasonable and service was good. I would definitely go here again.

Had a lovely catch up with friends a nice meal and the lady who served us was so friendly and a great help. She felt like one of our friends. Thank you Ioana for making our evening even better.

A fantastic lunch in a beautiful pub.
The staff were amazing, I didn't catch the ladies name, but she recommended dishes and catered to our every need. Service that is rare now in gastro pubs.
The pub has a nice little car park which is handy as epping high road is a nightmare.
The food was spot on and reasonably priced. I really don't have anything negative to say.
