Kite & Key Cafe On Franklin

This place was the best door for the price. We arrived 2 minutes before closing and we're welcome like they had just opened. The coffee and tea were fresh and brewed there. The whole place is based on Ben Franklin. Our server was great she had our order up on minutes. My cup never went dry. Thank you for one of the best brunch experiences in Evansville. A great German Potato dish with my breakfast was like when I was a kid. Nostalgia and Comfort food at a reasonable price.

My first trip to Kite and Key and OH MY LAWD it was fantastic. Our waitress was so sweet and nice. The food was amazing, I got the Club Wrap and delicious is not even close to describe it. The flavor was phenomenal. My husband.got the Bellybuster and was beyond ecstatic that the German fries came put well done and crispy, his favorite way. 10/10 recommend coming here for a meal. We will be back.

A colleague recommended this restaurant and after we finally got a break from the daily work grind to grab a bite to eat, the food from Kite & Key Café was refreshing and delicious. I loved that there was a variety on the menu that could appeal to a breakfast, brunch, or maybe even a lunch kind of appetite. Thank you!

Oh wow a must go! Terrific! The atmosphere was beautiful❣ The decor was done perfect. I ordered breakfast that came with fried potatoes that were the best I've had in a restaurant. Everything is homemade. The cinnamon roll didnt last to get a pic lol. My honey ordered the Eggs Benedict that was beyond great. Service was outstanding. They are only open til 2pm. 😕 So what are you waiting for, get in there and try this place...Its so worth the go.

Charming and fun place to eat breakfast. Had fun listening to the owner/waitress I think giving area history lessons to visitors. Had the farmers breakfast and the bacon avacado omelette. Their German Potatoes are the best. They are fried potatoes with little bits of skins and onions an even though they are tender they have little crunchy bits that are full of flavor. The staff was super friendly and quick to seat, server, clean, repeat. Everyone looked like they knew what their job was. The place is decorated with old Americana and famous quotes, the tables are wooden and rustic. Very nice. Will stop in next time I'm in Evansville.
