Read St. Bbq

I consider myself a bit of a bbq aficionado. Everywhere I go, I try the local fare. I had never heard of this place until the day we went to eat there. But it is by far the best bbq in Evansville. In fact, there are few places I've been in the region that have better stuff. I got the ribs and pulled pork with baked beans and potato salad. All of it was excellent. The lone complaint was the price per pound of pulled pork. That's the only thing I had considered taking home. But it is about 50% more expensive than just about anywhere else I've been to.

We aren't local and happened to be in Evansville for the day. Stopped here for lunch and left STUFFED. Not only was the good great, the staff was incredible-the gal working up front had the patience of a saint, sauces are incredible and the more we noticed about the atmosphere, the more we loved it! Definitely happy we stopped here!

My best friend referred me & my sister to this place and I am highly disappointed in the customer service. The young man, I think his name was Zack, was extremely rude. I told him he was being disrespectful and he started slamming things and huffing & puffing. There were also customers dining in and people waiting to order. I ordered a brisket sandwich which had only fat on it. I spent 50.00 today and I was hoping it was well worth it but I would say NOT.
