We visited the Thatched House for my Birthday as it was central for us all to meet up from Beer, Plymouth and Bristol.
We chose it as it was wheelchair accessible and dog friendly.
A huge shout out to Cameron who was just wonderful. We were running late but you were so patient, allowed us to sample a couple of beers and made sure we were all doing okay.
The food was great and the choice of beers top notch!

The Thatched House has been named CAMRA Exeter and East Devon Pub of the Year, and it's easy to see why. It offers an ever-changing range of ales and ciders all kept to the highest standards, a varied menu of excellent quality food, and superb service from Paul, Nataliya, and the staff. Come along on Wednesday night for the best pub quiz in Exeter!

Really like this local pub. Hope it's not rude to say don't expect a perfectly polished gastro pub type vibe, it's a bit rough around the edges (in the nicest way possible)..but what speaks most about it is just a really nice atmosphere, friendly staff, nice fun bunch of locals inside.

What a wonderful little pub! Tucked away just outside Exeter, this little gem has a fantastic range of food and a good atmosphere. As a celiac, I am somewhat nervous around eating out but the staff here wholeheartedly reassured/guided me and I ended up having a wonderful gluten free meal. I didn't manage to get our hostess' name but she was able to chat me through the whole process and made sure the kitchen was aware of my allergy. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out the front in the sunshine. I would 100% return again!
