Sometimes simple things are the best without any fuss, a simple menu at extremely decent prices with decent portion sizes. Great swift service and a warm welcome. Can’t really complain. Well worth a visit for lunch or dinner which won’t break the bank or compromise on quality a real hidden gem in my opinion

My husbands fish was really dry, but they immediatly changed it for something else. I had bangers & mash, really good , simple but good tasty food. Got a discout because we were staying in Travel Lodge. It is all in the same building, so could not have been more convenient. The prices were great. Would definatly use again, the staff were extreemly helpful & friendly

Stayed in Travel Lodge on 1st August and found the Bar Grill was off the reception, looked clean and discount for guests was inviting offer. The bar staff were friendly and helpful and there was a great choice of food on the menu. At 6.00pm it was not too busy and the food was serviced up in a only a short time. It was well presented and looked appetising. Waitress was helpful and asked if there anything else I wanted or needed. The food tasted as good as it looked, from recent experience it was better than a mixed grill from a Harvester restaurant. From my experience the Bar Grill offers Great food, Great price, Great staff. I Would certainly visit again I do agree with other reviews about the services - nightmare on the roundabout just to get in.
