My Friend and I went there first time to try the Great Plates Special, which happens once a year in Old Town. Their Special deal was shown in the photos here. I like all the flavor in their dishes. The amount of food was limited. The main course was a pork belly dish which I love but I think if it came with some bread to soak up the delicious broth, it would be perfect. I haven't tried their food on the menu yet, but definitely I will go back again. Their service was very good too.

I ate at the bar and was served by a man who goes by "Meet Sauce". He was quite witty and had some wry jokes. He served me two drinks that I've never had before - a 'Frisco and "fun with ball and chains". Both were tasty. I had the pate for an appetizer. This was my favorite dish of the three that I ordered. The pate was silky and very tasty. There was a compound butter that was like gilding the lily. There were two delicious house-made pieces of bread that were very fresh. With some cornichons and some micro-greens, it was a well-rounded dish. I had the beet salad next. I found the dressing very sour; adding beet to the bite helped cut through the sourness. The sesame seeds didn't seem to add anything to the salad. The third dish was the sea bass nage. The fish was perfectly crispy. The standout part of this dish was the fish fume; it was full of flavor and I couldn't stop drinking it.

Went in for the first time recently to celebrate my birthday and my partner's birthday. Simply stunning food. Fort Collins suffers from a lack of serious foodie locales, at least in my opinion coming from Denver area and having gone to Italy for a 3-week food tour 2 years ago. Bistro Nautile fixes that by adding some classically trained French chef muscle to a wonderful seafood-centric concept. There's tons of traditional French goodies on the menu, and they should appeal to most people's palates who venture beyond fast food. At this price point, you do want to be wow'ed. Luckily every single dish and every drink I've tried so far did just that. Our server Ricky also took great care of us. Will certainly be back! Highest possible recommendation.

Best food I’ve ever had in town, and awesome service! Everyone there was so nice, and the food was so good and refined. Really recommend the dirty martini with pickled okra (see photo lol) and the bone marrow.

Went to Bistro Nautile for our 2nd time last night and it’s now officially our favorite restaurant in Fort Collins! This town has loads of sports bars, burger joints, and fast casual restaurants but we’ve really been needing a nice restaurant that consistently does good food (all of the other “nice” restaurants, in my experience, have been hit or miss). Enter Bistro Nautile: finally a great restaurant! This restaurant is a bit pricier but totally worth it. Possible a birthday, celebration, or business meeting type spot. Last time I got the fish dish and last night I got the gravlax special and the friend chicken special. My husband got the scallops. Everything was amazing! Finished up the meal with the berry trifle (and last time we did the key lime pie and chocolate cake) — everything was perfect and I’d even consider stopping by for just dessert! Highly recommend! We will be back. :)

I'm knocking off one star bc the risotto was so bad I didn't touch it and they comped me for the meal. Now everything else was decently goodish. My drink was the kir noir and it was excellent. The bone marrow was okay. A bit overdone so there wasn't much marrow. My friends had the hanger steak and some beef bourguignon I think it was. Those were tasty. The French onion was also quite good. The creme brulee I found just decent. The top was good but I did find the custard to be a touch grainy. It's Thursday and they were quite busy so maybe it was just an off night. We probably won't go out of our way to eat here again, but will be back if we're in the area. Oh but are server was a real sweetheart and the darling of the meal. Top notch service. That's honestly enough to keep me at four stars with the option for five if we go back and the food improves a bit.

Sadly, yet another overrated FoCo place I have to give poor review to. We've passed by the Bistro many times in the last few months and couldn't wait to go in and check it out. The reviews were wonderful and place seemed nice from the outside. So we finally visited last Friday, to a huge disappointment, unfortunately. Came in for a 7:30 dinner, place was about half full. Got seated and offered the menus. Surprisingly pricey place for it being in FoCo - I compare it to NYC prices almost, which is...surprising, but ok, maybe I don't understand the economics of the biz in Northern Colorado. The menu was quiet sparse and with the relative lack of wine by the glass I opted for a New Belgium lager - the highlight of the meal, unfortunately. We had: - Beef Bourguignon -- overfried, super oily, looking nothing like the real thing would look like dish. When I showed the pic to my French coworker he quipped "that's the most amount of green I'd ever seen on the dish". So this should truly be called "fatty fried beef cubes in more oil with some herbs and wine", not a hearty french stew you would expect. Ate about 1/3 of it and didn't go further since all the oil/fat was making me nauseous already, and I love fat meats and pork belly etc. $32 dish...I can't believe it. - Onion soup -- too much wine in it, I'd give it 3/5 at most...my wife didn't finish even 1/3 of it. - Garlic Gougers were great, but ...why wouldn't they be..it's just fried dough with aioli and garlic :) To sum up, terrible food (mostly), OK service, lacks atmosphere to be a cozy bistro and pricey. Yet another, unfortunately disappointing FoCo place that makes me wonder why is it hard to come across good "fine" dinning options in our town, even when the chefs try...

We had the BEST lunch! We enjoyed a dozen oysters, escargot chowder soup and this salad. Everything was delicious! Kat made sure our experience was spot on. She is very knowledgeable in the oysters too. She was super sweet! Highly recommend!!!!
