Red Lobster

We went in recently to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary and my birthday. My husband ordered a salmon meal with mashed potato and clam chowder. I told the server what I wanted and she decided I was going to eat ala carte. I ordered red Argentina shrimp, lobster tail-- they were out of whole lobsters--, macaroni and cheese, and a cup of clam chowder. We also received the wonderful biscuits. Everything was excellent, except for the macaroni and cheese. It's not the worst macaroni and cheese I've ever had -- but the word I kept thinking of while tasting it was "cloying". I could feel myself gaining pounds with every bite. Everything in the macaroni and cheese tasted artificial. Uck. We have also been to Red Lobster in May and I ordered the 6 breaded shrimp. They were so spicy that I could hardly eat them; when I told our server, she acted like I was crazy. It wasn't the sauce, it was in the bread that they put on the shrimp. So for the taste of the macaroni and the shrimp, and because there's no prices on their drink menu and we ended up paying 3$ more for the drink than the server said it was, for these 3 reasons-- I am reducing my previous 5 star review to 4 stars.

It's been a while since we last visited Red Lobster. We enjoy their meal, but the experience in other locations were not very pleasant. However, our waiter Elliot from this location, made our experience so much better. He provided such a professional, friendly, and outstanding customer service. Biscuits: always delicious England Clam Chowder: very good Linguine Alfredo with Shrimp: pasta was too bland and overcooked. Also lacked flavor. Bar Harbor Lobster Bay: pasta was too soft and overcooked, not al dente. Lobster, Shrimp, and Salmon: this was our top favorite and we highly recommend it. Love the buttery garlic sauce. As far as sides, I recommend the Quinoa Rice, surprisingly very good! Dessert: Chocolate Wave. Cake was so moist and ridiculously good! If you're looking for a cocktail, I really enjoy the Sunset Passion Colada.

Love this restaurant! Food is always cooked well and to temp. Nice atmosphere. The only complaint that I would have is they need to do a major cleaning with fresh cleaning supplies in mops. Because there was a slight musty smell which is due to using old maps in dirty mop water in mop buckets. Not a deal breaker but something to keep in mind!

My husband and I really loved coming here for our anniversary. I'm not sure what's going on here but we went again on March 2nd and everything was good but the food. It used to be so busy that you would have to go early so you wouldn't have to wait for a table. But now a days you can pretty much go anytime and get a seat anywhere in the place and probably with a big party !! What is going on with Red Lobster in Fort Collins?????

Wow…what can I say. Zero stars is what I should be allowed to suggest. This WAS going to be my first time eating at Red Lobster. We arrived at the Fort Collins location at 7:30 to try out lobster fest. Got seated within five minutes of getting there. You would figure if your host seats Your party that within at least 5 minutes someone would come and welcome you to begin your dinner right? WRONG. One by one every single server, host, AND MANAGER, passed us by. With our menus closed we waited patiently to be served. Instead we watched as three different hosts, waitresses and managers all sat and joked around the bar top. If you didn’t have enough servers on to take our Booth why did you seat us? Both my boyfriend and I have served our time in the food industry we understand what it’s like to be busy. But this red lobster wasn’t even full. We waited for about 15 minutes until the realization hit us that they were just flat out ignoring our table completely. Embarrassed and frustrated we excused ourselves and just left. All in all this was the worst service I have ever experienced at a restaurant. To completely ignore guests in your business is not how you retain a good reputation. The PM manager of this location should be fired for their lack of responsibility and judgement. You suck Red Lobster.
