Riscky's Barbeque

The food was good and the service was great. There was no wait at lunch time on a Friday. I recommend the brisket. The outside brick patio, which attached to, and is only accessible through the restaurant, isn't well maintained, though. The brick floor of the patio is crumbling away and there are holes and abscesses everywhere. I almost tripped on a broken brick and a little girl did fall backwards off a bench and hit her back. Riscky’s Bar BQ is a true gem in the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards. The moment you step in, you’re greeted with the tantalizing aroma of smoked meats. The brisket practically melts in your mouth, and the ribs are fall-off-the-bone perfection. Friendly staff and an authentic Texan atmosphere make it a must-visit🥳🥳🥳🤩

Great food, fast service, and amazing prices. The place was packed around lunch time but we did not have to wait to be seated. Once seated we quickly was greeted by our server and was pleasantly surprised by how quick everything happened. This was a one of a kind atmosphere and experience. I recommend if you in the are to give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

A touristy Texas themed steakhouse that’s absolutely perfect for its location. Face it, if you’re here in the stockyards or considering coming, you don’t just want the Texas experience: you want the cartoon version of it. Riscky’s is fine, and on our visit it met all my expectations, so there ya go. The pricing was inflated vs comparable options, but this is tourist pricing in the heart of the tourist area of Fort Worth. Everyone I brought here from our of state had a hoot, and despite my own reservations as a native I have to concede that this is a perfect place to bring someone coming to the area for the first time. Just make sure you wear a pair of boots.
