This place is our new go to Italian spot. Down home feel with delicious eats. My Love always gets the "Daniel special" which is Grilled Chicken Diablo. This time I got Chicken Alfredo with Angel hair pasta. Yum!

Webtried this place with my inlaws. They love this place. I Love the hot rolls. You get a basket as soon as you sit down. The Alfredo with chicken is very good. We had a great dinner. Will definitely be going back.

I've been a patron of Prima Pasta almost since day 1. The food never disappoints. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. The vibe is just... CHILL. A basket of warm rolls will be placed at the table. They are delicious, but try not to fill up on them. There are plenty of entrees needing to be sampled. I got the cream of spinach soup. It is made fresh daily. I DREAM about this delicious soup. Also, the house dressing -- a tomato vinaigrette -- is OUTSTANDING. Prima Pasta will always be one of my most favorite Italian restaurants in Fort Worth.

Great garlic rolls. I tried the Italian sampler my son has meat balls and marinara with spaghetti. My daughter has stuffed shells. Food came out quick and fresh from oven. I have to recommend the Cannoli but my son swore the strawberry cheesecake was better.

I ventured and experienced more of the menu. Had the Chicken Cremora with grilled chicken. Loved it. But what also keeps me coming back is that they work with you. No difficulties making changes. Cremora comes with baked chicken. But I really liked the grilled. No problem. Great place to come and enjoy a meal.

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review sooner. We have been frequenting Prima Pasta for many years and I have a lot to share about this wonderful gem of a restaurant. First, I will speak of the service: We have always been warmly welcomed, made to feel more like extended family than patrons. On occasion, Peter, the senior owner, is present and when he is, he always spends a significant amount of time visiting with us, joking with our daughters, and sharing his life’s wisdom with us. He also started a trend of giving our girls some fresh dough to play with and create things with while they wait for their food, which they love! He’s a true joy to know. Over the years we have also met Peter’s wife, son Beck, and grandson. This is truly an authentic family owned business. In addition to the wonderful family, we have noticed that Prima Pasta, retains its staff of servers which we value very much. We love walking in and being welcomed back by servers we’re familiar with. We have always been seated right away or offered to choose our own seat. The service has always been top notch. The staff is beyond attentive and will bend over backwards to accommodate anyway they can. The bread is typically placed on the table within minutes and entrees always come out quickly too. Our waters never run dry and we have never had to wait on a server for any reason. To say their service is impeccable is an understatement! As for the food, first I must share that I’m Italian. I grew up in New York, where my grandparents immigrated to from Italy, and I grew up cooking authentic Italian food. It’s very rare for me to order red sauce at a restaurant because I’m very picky about it. But here at Prima’s, their red sauce is wonderful and close to my own! We have ordered a wide variety of dishes here and have never been disappointed, every dish has been a true delight. Also, the staff is very receptive, if you have a request and prefer your food a particular way, say you prefer your pasta al dente like myself, they are happy to make it happen. It’s also important to share that Prima’s uses high quality ingredients. They use olive oil, real chicken, fresh vegetables and everything is made from scratch! They always offer extra large portions of deliciousness, and unlimited fresh baked bread! A little secret, ask them for just a tiny bit of their homemade balsamic dressing to dip your bread in, you won’t be disappointed! Another important bit about their food is how dedicated they are to address and accommodate any food allergies, sensitivities, or dietary restrictions. Tonight, for instance, we went in with several difficult food allergies and a medical restriction, so we asked for them to create something that would be soy, dairy, corn, gluten, and carbohydrate free (who go’s out for Italian food not being able to eat carbs!?). So what did they do? Beck, came over to our table and sat with us and joyfully and patiently, discussed what he could create to accommodate my needs. Ultimately, he created a delicious dish especially for me. I can’t begin to say how grateful I am for his kindness and talent. It’s hard to have these restrictions and even harder to try to find a place to eat to accommodate them and not be made to feel like a burden; yet, Prima’s, made me feel appreciated, with all my difficult restrictions and all. My gratitude runs deep. Another thing about Prima’s that I appreciate is that you will never walk in and see abandoned tables covered with dirty dishes. The restroom is always immaculate, from what we have been able to see of their partially open kitchen, it too is always kept in tip top shape. This place takes their cleanse leanness seriously! The decor is warm and it gives an authentic Italian feel. The tables are family sized and the chairs are comfortable no matter your size. They offer high chairs for younger children too. In closing, I highly recommend Prima’s Pasta and Pizza, to anyone that truly loves an authentic Italian family friendly, family owned, mom and pop restaurant that serves delicious high quality food!

I can’t believe my good fortune. I was getting my car inspected at the Firestone next door and happened across this gem... I was floored by the prices, I was just before three o’clock and they have a special deal for lunch. I got Ceasar salad with every entree because that’s my favorite. I got 4 entrees tho, they were so cheap I thought they were going to be kinda small. They weren’t small, they were large. Here’s what they looked like. I love this restaurant. I wish there were one in Cali, where I live.

My wife and I and brother and mother visited Prima's for lunch on 6/28/17. Although this was our first time ever in this restaurant, the owner, Peter, from Albania, has been in this location for around 23 years! And one waitress, Amy, has been there for 20 years. That is very impressive in the restaurant business. We enjoyed meeting and talking with them both. Prima's is BYOB, and we actually did bring our wine and were very pleased that they were prepared with the wine glasses. We started out with a basket of large fresh warm soft rolls which were excellent. We asked for some olive oil dip so he brought us some olive oil/garlic AND basaltic vinaigrette dip in separate bowls. But we used them together which made the bread that was already very good into outstanding. I ordered the special of the day which was angel hair pasta with grilled chicken breast, black olives and pink vodka sauce. My wife ordered the regular menu chicken pasta with pink sauce. Mother wanted the beef lasagna and brother went with the spaghetti and meat balls with meat sauce. As our meals were being served, we all commented on how large the serving portions were. They were all very, very hot -fresh from the oven/stove to our table. None of our plates sat around kitchen waiting to be served. My grilled chicken was cooked well, not dry and tough. The pink sauce on my dish had a very good flavor, but it was somewhat thin, so the flavor did not "stick" with the pasta. That was not an issue for me, but my wife had double the amount of pasta and there was not enough of the pink sauce for that much pasta. Mother's lasagna and brother's spaghetti and meat sauce were both quite to their satisfaction. I tasted each of them and both were very flavorful. The sauce leaned toward the fresh tomato taste as opposed to a rich, savory style sauce. Everyone was satisfied and no one ate their whole portion, so there were leftovers for later. We all really enjoyed our experience there and our meals and look forward to returning.
