Spring Creek Barbeque

Nice surprise, Friday night and it was a ghost town. Which made me wonder. Seemed brisket was leftover as all the brisket was wrapped in plastic wrap. But it was moist and tender, not a strong smoke taste. Side were ok at best. Rolls right out of the oven were great and kept making rounds everytime a batch came out of oven. I will return.

The restaurant has been around for years but it doesn't show its age like other places. The interior is well maintained and folksy. I noticed that the lighting is a lot better than just about every other bbq place I've been too. It's very warm and inviting. I don't know why other places keep the lights so low as if it's a bar. The food was very good. The platters are a little pricey, but you get to cram on as many sides as will fit on the plate, so you're guaranteed to have leftovers to take home. An employee comes around with hot, fresh rolls that can't be beat. All in all, it was a very satisfying dinner.

1985 to present. Great BBQ, Always friendly service. I recommend this location for both lunch and dinner. There's a 90% chance of law enforcement being there so it's gotta be safe. I mean, I've been eating here 30+ years and I always see at least ONE officer every time I've been in here... Just an interesting side note...lol

Perhaps I was not as hungry as I thought because the ribs, which are my favorite, did not taste as great as usual. The beef was fantastic though, the ham was okay. The bread was as awesome as ever. And of course the staff was wonderful and very accommodating. One of my favorite places to eat when I have some extra money.

Manager, was polite and helping customers with refilling their drinks. Best BBQ ever!! Manager was doing what no other manager does in any other place, he was introducing himself and being polite with all customers! Very clean place and nice staff from entering to walking out!! Five stars,definitely!!

Great barbecue, and great service. we always get takeout and our order is always exactly right, never had any issues and they always remember every single detail of our confusing order.. and their rolls are super, super awesome... for real, they are the best rolls ever.. the cobbler is kinda expensive, but we love it! it's very good too.. the ribs and briscuit and chicken are super good too... would definitely recommend anyone in that area go see them!! I'm hungry now, lol
