Best food on east Lancaster made from scratch the he puts a lot of time into his food the BBQ is spot on not overpowering with the smoke taste perfect smoke ring the owner has ran several top notch restaurants for owners and now has ventured out on his own to pursue his passion which is good BBQ mixed with some good home cooking. The potato salad baked beans and pinto beans are my favorite nothing better than a bowl of beans and cornbread a slice of onion a jalapeno to put you on the full mark 👊 Good luck brother you've more than earned my repeat business. My husband doesn’t smile often and definitely doesn’t get impressed often by someone else’s cooking (he’s a chef himself) …… so that sexy smile on his face says it all. 😆The food was AMAZING ! Like Oh my Goodness . My husband is a big man and he was able to get full AND had food left over to take home . The Koolaid taste so good , the selection was amazing and they even had a good show selection while we enjoyed our food . This is definitely the spot to go if your looking for a meal that taste home made. They cater as well. I can’t brag on this place enough . Definitely my new favorite spot . GO GET YOUR PLATE NOW !!!!

Really needed some Soul Food today especially after my bad experience on Friday....This place right here 💯.....Them Pork Shops had me moving my shoulders and dancing....Mac & Cheese was great...But that Kool Aid....That's like from how we made it from the crib in my youth....Lady and The Pit is were it happening......Menu is good to go...I reccomend this establishment if you close by or if you make that trip you won't be disappointed....FYI: Maze was in Concert.....LOL....Nah just in the Speakers...😂😂😂

Drove from 8-10 miles to get dinner with my grandson and Godmother. Been following The Lady since her last location on Handley Dr. Her soul food was always good with big portions. On this day, I had smothered pork chops, greens, yams, and cornbread. The pork chops were nice and tender with lots of gravy. But not a lot of seasoning. The greens had too many stalk pieces in it and little seasoning. The yams and cornbread were delicious! I could only eat about a 1/3 of the plate because it was so much food. Had food enough left over for 2 more meals.

WOW!! That was great! Best shopped beef I've ever had. Baked beans are really good and the potato salad was a little different but also good. The portion size is generous, but you can bet nothing will be left. The dessert menu looked really good (key lime pie, banana pudding, and lots more, no one was hungry enough. Wish I had brought some home.

Their food is delicious. I've ordered the rib plate with potato salad and baked beans. Oh my. The ribs were so tender, they just fall off the bone. The potato salad was so good and the baked beans was oh so good. My daughter tasted my food and we had to go back to order her a plate. Their bolo sandwich is huge and good. You will be satisfied.

Are you hungry? I mean real hungry. The kind of hunger that you can feel down in your soul? Then get over to Lady & the Pit where they got all the good soul food. Wed is the chicken fried special, 2 sides and cornbread. I couldnt pick 2 sides so I got 3. Collard greens (smakin'), candied yams (schmackin'), and mac&cheese (schmackalackin'). We also got some rib sammys with slaw for the kiddos (they bourgie). A sliced brisket sammy with potato salad, some really sweet kool-aid, bread pudding and a slice of key lime. Everything is made from scratch with love. I can taste it. This one is close to home so we will likey keep coming back till they sick of us.

The Soul food here is delicious and you can't go wrong with the BBQ either! Their not hesitant to give you a very good amount of food. You'll definitely get your 💰 worth here!
