Taco Diner At Waterside

This place was quite a surprise to me. It was a recommendation from a family member, and I must say I was not disappointed. Great service, fast time between ordering the food and receiving the food. Our server was fantastic, and the food was phenomenal. Would definitely recommend coming here anytime you have a craving for authentic Mexican food.

First visit. Walked in and it felt so bright, spacious and clean. No heavy, greasy smell! The server was cheerful and quick to respond to requests. Lunch prices were affordable. We wanted a fish taco plate for the little one, but there was no fish on the children's menu. It was so easy to order one fish taco and add rice & veggies for just a little more in cost. The complimentary chips were served in a small-ish bowl with two types of hot sauces - yum! You can definitely ask for more chips. My bowl had three decent sized pieces of crispy chicken with sauced spinach and rice with guacamole. I enjoyed it! My husband's plate had several different items on it and two were very spicy for him. I gladly took one and I think it was the manager who offered to replace the other one for a non-spicy enchilada. Hubby also said the beef taco could have had more flavor. I told him that's why there's salsa. They aim to please and I hope to go back soon!

Haven’t had the chance to eat here until recently because of all the other options nearby, but I didn’t realize what good food I was missing. The tacos are slightly larger than “street tacos”, but excellent. Much better than Taco Heads tacos at lower prices. There is patio seating in the back away from the parking lot which is nice too. I’ve eaten here a couple of times and it was very good each time.

First time here and I have to say I was very impressed! Great authentic Mexican food with just the right amount of flavor. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant director Nancy was very awesome and made us feel at home considering it was our first time there. All around tasty food and awesome drinks and will definitely be returning! My new favorite place! The mambo taxi is the best and a must try! Definitely 5 stars! My all around experience was definitely a top 5!

We visited for a cocktail on the patio. We picked Taco Diner because of the great patio. What a wonderful time! Blanca took great care of us. When my wife wanted a martini, the manager, Alejandro made her a special lemon drop that was the best she’s ever he’s. He visited with us, and we loved the atmosphere. This will become a regular haunt. It’s awesome.

Just had the best tacos here, so good I had to get some to go!!! The margaritas where also very good;not to strong but you can taste the kick. And our serever oscar was awesome, always attentive and quick with everything Very great guy. I got to speak to the manager Nancy also and she was so nice and professional. Definitely coming back every Saturday morning.

I’ve been coming to this location since it opened and honestly the service has been less than great on most occasions but I’m giving a 5 star rating for the new bartender Gina. She has great customer service, is very attentive, and takes a lot of pride in her work. Friendly as well which is a trademark of a great bartender. I love the food so I keep coming back in spite of continuous bad service and am glad I’ve found a server that works hard and cares about their patrons. I love taco diner! Their queso is amazing, our server, Josh, was so attentive, coming by just enough to make sure we had everything we needed but not hovering. The manager, Nancy, passed by our table several times and made sure we had enough chips and made sure we were taken care of. The restaurant is very clean and pristine and I will definitely be back!
