Movie Tavern Fort Worth

This is my favorite movie theater. Once inside, you take the escalators from the ground floor and the walls on the ride up are decked out with atmospheric lighting and big vintage movie posters which really add to the one-of-a-kind feel of this place. On the lobby level, there's a bar that offers a stunning view of West 7th and a patio to sit outside if you'd like. The theaters themselves are well-maintained, featuring comfortable reclining seats and swivel tables, perfect for enjoying your food and drinks. Though the food is a little pricey, the convenience and taste make it well worth it. The staff here is fantastic. They're always kind and never disrupt the movie experience, even when they bring you your food. I can't say enough good things about this place! Parking tip: There's an entrance to the theater from the third floor of the parking garage where there are typically ample spaces available. The theater also provides parking validation, making it free of charge.

The yearlong popcorn bucket is so worth it if you get popcorn at least 4 times throughout the year. I like the food ordering when I want dinner with a movie, but sometimes other people's food smells can be unappealing. That's just part of the experience here. I recommend the bar starts carrying fresh fruit to use in their drinks, this would make the experience way better and earn 5 stars!

Very comfortable seating where you can lay out and relax just as if you were home. You even have your own mini table and cup holder so you don’t have to keep your food on your lap the entire film. You order at the concierge outside and then they deliver your order directly to you in the theater. The biggest challenge is parking as they don’t have their own self park lot. Make sure to plan in time for parking in a lot close by and budgeting for that cost. While the escalators are currently out of order, there is an elevator and accessible seating options at the theater. Great selection of movie snacks and beverages (including very well mixed and strong alcoholic drinks). Make sure to confirm your movie start time two hours before your film as ours changed time from our originally pre-purchased tickets (though this was on my by five minutes and did not impact us greatly). Clean theater and convenient location to downtown. Will be going again.
