The Cookshack

This was my first time here. I had heard from a friend that it was good. I ordered the crispy Chicken sandwich with mild sauce and Fries. The food was delivered to my table, I didn't have to go to the counter to get it. The young lady who took my order was very pleasant, and after I explained it was my visit, she took the time to explain the menu and the process. When my sandwich came, it looked well presented and delicious. One thing I didn't know was that the fries were seasoned. I'm usually not big on seasoned fries, but these were really good. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I will be back again.

Been here several times before. Tenders are usually bigger and juicier than what I got today. The chicken was still good though. For the first time, I got mac and cheese instead of fries. Call me crazy but I think they use Cinnamon, Nutmeg, or something in it. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I smell, see, and taste that specific spice. I didn't really care for the dish because of that. It kept putting me in the mind of eating a sweet potato pie. I don't know. Overall, good food.

I got the 3 tender (mild) with mac&cheese. The tender were cooked nice and crispy on the outside and juicy/tender on the inside with a great flavor. The mac&cheese was ok but not great. Their tea was very fresh and a good taste. Service was quick. Staff was friendly and was attentive to customers both at the order counter and in the dining room. Atmosphere is very comfortable with a few TVs to watch a game. Children would be welcome and very comfortable in this setting. Parking could be a challenge when busy but otherwise no issue. Overall, a nice alternative for chicken tenders from normal fast food and casual dining establishments. It is a bit pricey but not outrageous compared to others.

Visited this place yesterday. Unfamiliar with Fort Worth, I just googled food places near me. Was greeted immediately upon entering, and everyone was friendly. The restaurant was clean and the staff was keen on cleaning up after you were done. You order at the front and are given a number. Food is brought to you. The quality of food was excellent. Had the chicken sandwich. Highly recommend a visit.

Highlights: Chicken tenders (of course), mac n cheese, and the customer service! All the staff we interacted with was so great. They even came by and checked on us while we were eating to make sure everything was okay and one of them gave me an extra sauce when I wanted a little extra kick. I got the mild and it didn’t have any spice, so next time I would go for the medium! The only thing we didn’t really like was the waffles, but that might just be personal taste. They were fluffy and delicious but something about the batter we just didn’t love. Overall, we would return and are looking forward to trying more items on their menu!! Such a great casual meal in Fort Worth.

This is my second time eating from here it's so delicious the chicken has the perfect crunch and spice its also always juicy. The mac and cheese is very creamy and cheesy full of the right flavors. Now let's get into the customer service, it's top notch both for dine in and carry out. I made the request that they make my order with love and give me the biggest tenders they had and the pics below will show just how they met those requests. A very great atmosphere and staff and even greater food, give this spot a visit and thank me later

I'm starting to do a before and after view of my food so people can see the end result. This place was really cool. When I first walked in, it took me a while to get service, and I was about to knock them for it, but I guess the manager came from the back, and he was cooler than the other side of the pillow so he saved the 5 star review. I forgot his name (I know I suck). The food was really good. The ribs did taste like packaged ribs, but again, it was really good. I would advise you !to give it a try

We had the chicken sandwich and 2 piece tenders as mains and sides of fries and mac n cheese. Both were ordered as "medium" which wasn't particularly spicy. The sandwich was good, but would've been better without the sauce. The tenders were quite large, bigger than 1 thing of ranch could handle. The fries were too salty, but the other seasoning was tasty. The mac n cheese wasn't made with typical cheese(s) but was good.
