Busy sandwich spot in Cool Springs TN with an assortment of really interesting choices. Order at a counter and grab a table (if available), get your own beverage at a dispenser. My server was new (didn’t catch their name) but on the ball and was constantly smiling - always a nice addition to any interaction you have. I had the Sweet and Spicy BBQ Steak (steak, coleslaw, provolone and sliced jalapeños) with chips and a drink - $20 after a tip. Here’s the breakdown: Really yummy sandwich +1 star; good service +1 star; fairly quick delivery +1 star; open and bright dining area +1 star; condiment and napkin tower +1 star; expensive for a kind of small serving size -1 star. I might go back. Foods good but really pricy for what you get.

Food not as good as I remembered but was passable. What was astonishing was that all of the available tables- about 60% of the total tables- had dirty plates, cups, napkins, etc. from previous guests. I bussed one of the tables so that we would have a place to sit. After about 15 minutes someone cleared three tables. Several staff walked through the dining area while we there but didn't clean anything. Has Newks gone to a self-service model and not told the public?

First time eating here; nice little chain that serves pizza, sandwiches, soup and salads. Full table service isn't offered here but they do bring your food to the table and pick up the dishes afterwards.The counter girl was very sweet and friendly, and the food arrived in a timely manner even though it was at the beginning of lunch rush and they were already busy. We ordered a supreme pizza which had pepperoni, sausage, kalamata olives, green peppers, onions and banana peppers (and tomatoes, I believe).The crust was a thinner style without being too hard/crispy, which is my favorite kind of crust. Honestly, I've had pizza at well-known pizza places that everyone raves about that wasn't any better than this...(meaning it was really good!) and at a reasonable price.They only have one size, which is a 10 inch, but we split one and that with a side of pasta salad was plenty to fill us up. The pasta salad featured corkscrew pasta with black olives, bell peppers, onions, I think and Italian dressing. There might've been other ingredients, but that's all I can remember; it was fresh without being soggy and the seasoning was just right. Total was $15 and change as I recall, which was very reasonable in today's economy where prices are climbing everywhere. Would definitely eat here again.

Solid soup salad and sandwich shop. The food isn't going to change your life but you probably won't be disappointed either. I probably would have given it five stars except that a lot of the cross on our pizza was without toppings as shown in the picture. Other than that it was excellent and I would have given it five stars.

Mediocre food. I used to think it was better. My chicken was in large slices in my salad rather than smaller chunks. They also overdressed my salad instead of letting me choose to put the amount I want on. Maybe that’s how they do things, but Why should I have to ask if the salad is dressed or not? And then ask to have it on the side. Hubby was also not impressed with his sandwich. He’s easily had better. And both kids did not like their meals. The pizza was far too crusty. Not horrible food, just not great. And I honestly don’t think it was special enough for me to want to come back. Especially when Jason’s Deli is so close. 🤷‍♀️
