Restaurant is tucked away behind the Spa. Good Mexican place. Went on a Saturday night, and not too busy. Guac was homemade and very good. Fajitas were big enough for two. Could have had more authentic seasoning. Overall acceptable and would go back.

Loved this place! Beautiful decorations and great food! The chips and salsa were really delicious, and our food was very great too! The Nachos were huge and the gordita was messy to eat but totally worth it! There also wasn't a wait and the waitress was very nice.

GOOD
Very pleasant atmosphere.
Steak tacos were great.
BAD
Salsa was terrible. It was tomato soup with a weird spice in it.
Hot salsa was worse. Spicy, flavorless green jello.
Beef tacos were flavorless.
They got everyone’s order wrong. We just ordered some tacos.
We’re not going back and do not recommend at all.

I absolutely loved the old Mexican restaurant that was in this same location. And when I heard this one served breakfast, I had extras high hopes. But I've been here a few times now, and, well, just don't bother.
I can make homemade tortillas. It's easy, just time consuming. Theirs are weirdly grainy. Such a bad texture. The food is bland. And what kind of breakfast joint doesn't open until 10am? Guess I will continue making my own homemade Mexican breakfasts...
Two stars for ambience. Because they kept many of the cool aesthetics the prior tenant had.

Our experience was terrible. After my family was seated, the family sitting adjacent said "you guys should leave now...". The other family said they had been there for nearly and hour and a half. We waited about 15 minutes for anyone to take a drink order and another 15 minutes for a food order. When the salsa was brought out, it appeared to be cut with water and had little taste. The chips were chewy which baffles me. We ended up cancelling our order and going to another place across the street. Stay away from this place.

Moved here from San Diego. I'm on the hunt for Mexican food as good as what I'm used to. This place was good. It's more sit down style than taco shop. The beans and rice were good. Flour tortillas are small so you can't make a burrito. Carne Asada was a good steak, but it didn't have the typical seasoning I'm used to. The service was great and I'll definitely be back.

We were seated and waited almost 10 minutes for chips and salsa to be brought out. We ordered coffee and water, which took another 15 minutes to be brought out. Our waiter Humberto finally took our order but never checked on us afterwards. We had to flag him down for more coffee as it took 45 minutes to get our food. Rice and beans on the mole enchiladas were very salty and mole was super sweet. The steak on the green chilaquiles was salty as well. Terrible service and then we were overcharged. Have been multiple times before but don't think we'll be back. Shame because it was so good when they first opened.

My husband and I love Mexican food and tried this place last night. I was very disappointed across the board. Parts of it look like they have redecorated and appear nice but parts of it look like a dumpy diner and there is a kids toy counter up front (like the kind at Chuck-E-Cheese where you cash in tokens? Menu is like 5 pages, most of which is difficult to understand (and I am neither dense nor a stranger to this kind of food as we eat at Pueblo like once a week). Struggling to find anything to order that I could understand what I was getting, I tried just asking for something simple and asked if they had spinach enchiladas, but the waiter he “wasn’t sure.” I ended up not ordering anything. My husband asked for a coke, which came in a plastic bottle (no refills). My husband ate a cheese burrito with mole sauce, which he actually quite liked, but they came out three times asking him what kind of meat he wanted (we are vegetarian) and he repeatedly explained “just cheese.” I set there hungry drinking sweet tea. What really killed me, was that for his cheese burrito, a coke and sweet tea, our bill was $26. I cannot imagine the tab if I had actually eaten. Sweet tea (no refills) is $3.75 and they don’t have to go cups. Really expensive prices for what you get.
