We snuck in at the last minute and they were still willing to serve us which we appreciated. Food alright but our burgers were extremely thin. I've never seen such a sight. Maybe that's the type of burger we ordered? Let's say if a regular burger is equivalent to a pancake, then these were like crepes. I don't know, again maybe we got what we ordered but I was expecting more meat. Lol

So I left a very negative review on my first experience at Steak ‘n Shake in Illinois. We decided to give them another shot here where we are living now. This place turned it around for us! The food was prepared well and tasted worlds better than the first one. And the customer service was night and day! So friendly, fast and just all around amazing! We will have no problem going back here!

Not for everyone. Some people need fancier diggs. But this is a staple good old fashioned American Burger Place. Priced Right! A place you take your kids! Bathrooms still need to be cleaner. Come early. Often a wait. Many People know they can get a dependable meal here!

The food is consistently good. My order was exactly what I input on the order screen. The staff at this location is very friendly, even going so far as to help another guest with kids get their order to their table. Just a little thing, but the guest looked like they needed a hand and they jumped in and helped. Verry classy.

Really sad. This was a fantastic diner we've gone to for 20 years, whenever we were in the area. Now it's a cold, average fast-food place. Totally self-serve, order by kiosk. Picture is at 5:45 PM on a tuesday night. It would have been packed five years ago. There were 3 tables with people at them while we were there. Dead quiet.

We live in Manchester TN and visit our son in Franklin often and always stop here to eat. It's always clean. The employees are always friendly and helpful. It's a pleasure to eat here. And of course, the food is great!

We ordered via the drive-thru a few weeks ago. We ordered 2 burgers and 2 fries and were so hungry after driving for 15 hours from MN. What a huge disappointment! My burger was ice cold. Not just lukewarm but COLD. Also, it was about half a burger patty. It was actually disgusting. Love Steak 'n Shake but this stop was terrible.
