Main & Madison Market Cafe

Came in today for a late breakfast/brunch. The folks working there were super nice and patient while I worked out what I wanted. The offerings were varied and interesting. I eventually settled on the Good Morning Ciabatta. It was quite tasty, and being about twice the size that I expected, it was also quite filling. The eggs on the sandwich were cooked perfectly. Light and fluffy, and not dried out. It was also a very clean and attractive presentation. While this place may seem to be more oriented toward the ladies in it's offerings, men, fear not! They also have a limited selection of local craft beer! Beer for breakfast? If it was weird, it wouldn't be offered! Nothing seemed to be outrageously priced, so why not give it a shot?

Seriously can’t go wrong here! I’ve been coming here for years and have never had a bad meal and or a bad experience. All the staff are extremely sweet and accommodating. If you’re lucky enough to get your hands on a sticky bun before they sell out definitely get one!!! I love their bagel breakfast sandwich and hot tea (huge selection of teas). Seriously everything is amazing, from pastries to coffee to lunch!!

We came in wanting to pay with our phones (Apple Pay). They said they accept that but sometimes it doesn’t work - sadly today it didn’t work and we were prepared to walk away but the sweet employee at the counter let us have our cinnamon roll anyway. Way too generous and unnecessary, but it made my 4 yr olds day after our long bike ride for the promised treat. We are regulars and will make it right on our next visit. Best cafe in Johnson County. Always exceptional customer service. Very clean, very homey and decorated in the cutest way. Their cinnamon rolls are MASSIVE and a huge bargain at only $5. We love to ride our bikes here every Saturday and sit out on the large patio overlooking downtown Franklin.

Had brunch at Main & Madison Market Cafe this Sunday. Food was fantastic. Two of our party ordered quiche. It was excellent. One ordered a bowl, and said it was very good. One had the ham sandwich with chips. Very tasty. Also there was a blueberry scone, and lavender coffee. The food was excellent. The atmosphere is fun. The service was very good. This is someplace you really need to try, you will not be disappointed.

Immediately upon entering I was overwhelmed with the heavenly smell of fresh baked pastries and fresh coffee. I was enticed to try their Thursday special crescent with bacon and cheese which I paired with a hot fresh latte. From the first bite I was hooked. The crescent was huge, but I was up for the challenge to eat every heavenly bite. I washed it down of the delicious latte. Can't wait for my next job in the area so that I have an excuse to drop in for more heavenly baked goods and coffee.
