Denny's

Food was OK once we got it. We arrived a bit after noon. Place was practically empty, yet we waited about 15 minutes to be seated. There was also a group of people waiting that long to pay and get out. Where was the help? Occasionally a lady would buzz by and say. "Be right with you guys." HA. Finally we were seated and waited another span of time to have a waitress come by but she was reasonably attentive once she did. It took us an equally long time to pay. We'll choose another restaurant next time.

It was complete nerve. There weren't many occupied tables, it took them a while to sit us down, take our order and serve us. In the end, when I received my plate, it was all poorly presented, little quantity and nothing that looked like I've always ordered it at other Denny's. The waitress makes me see that this is what I ordered and I tell her to look at the menu, she brings me the menu and I show her the photo🤦‍♀️well it was only solved by giving us the free dish. Believe me I ate it because I was hungry, but it looked like soup. If you look at the photo of another person who gave 5 stars, you can see the difference in the plate (and it is supposed to be the same)

Ordered ahead for my lunch break. Just all around disappointment. $13 and I got a mediocre sandwich at best. 4 onion rings that were an up charge. And a smoothie that had a weird foam texture and no flavor, and that was after they forgot it and I had to go back in and wait the remainder of break. I have enjoyed Denny’s in the past but if this visit is an indication of their new standards I don’t have any plans on returning. The staff was nice just no sense of speed or urgency with an empty restaurant.

The only reason I'm giving it a star was decent food because the service was absolutely horrible. Usually I'm extremely patient and understand food industry is hard but our server, Melanie, acted like even refilling a drink was a burden. I asked once and after the huff and eye roll I left it alone. She seemed more focused giggling into her phone than working. I still grudgingly left about a $4 tip because of how I was raised but I feel like calling that a "participation" trophy is overly generous.

I ordered a Santa Fe skillet with no cheese and no sausage and eggs very well done crisp on both sides. The lady had a strange smile on her face and told me she made my food. After receiving my order I found meat in eat and it remakes of a strange smell. Almost like spit. I told them not to cook my veggies with butter and the bottom of the container contained some type of fluid and it was brownish and smelled funny. On top of that I found hair in my order and it appeared that some of the potatoes had been dropped on the floor and place back in because of the bits of black spots which appeared to be like dirt. The potatoes were dirty and soggy. I’ll never order here again. They wasted 30 min of my time and charged me almost 20 dollars. I usually pay under $10.00 for this order on a consistent basis with my driver discount and tonight they decided to put this order in the system the most expensive way possible. I’ll definitely will be contacting corporate.
