Liberty Street Ale House

Haven't been here in about 6 years until recently. Insides dark a little but it's nice and this time I didn't get sick. They greatly improved. Not just their food but the staff are all a lot more friendlier and it's a pleasant atmosphere to relax. I had the peanut spicy chicken and it's amazing. The lemon creme cake is amazing as well. I will gladly come back for more then just the new drinks too. I highly recommend the vanilla spiced pear beverage because next time I will be wanting to try the sugar cookie drink 🥰

Not bad but not good. I ordered the French Dip and the bread was the only tasty part. The prime rib & aujus had no taste. My fries were plated too early & came out cold. French onion soup could have more of a thyme taste & the cheese ended up being a glob at the bottom of my bowl. Husband's steak was tender & cooked right but a little salty. Best part was the zucchini strips & the Rekorderlig Wild Berry cider I had.

First time trying the other night, and my party was kind of underwhelmed. Good points- our waitress was nice, and the service was pretty fast for how busy they were. 'Polish wings' were yummy, with real garlic. Steak was of a good quality. My friend ordered the menu item of risotto topped with steak that came with one side. The waitress took her order with 2 sides, which confused us. When food arrived, it was just a steak with one side. We explained that we had ordered the steak risotto with one side. She came out with a bowl of risotto, which wasn't very good- it's rice in a bland white sauce. Then we get the bill, and we were charged extra for a side of risotto, even though it is what we originally ordered- the second side that was included with the meal she was charged, we never got. So we were charged $3 for what we should have already had, and for what wasn't very good. I wasn't paying, so when they didn't want to say anything out of politeness, I didn't push them. Kind of not worth the money.

The Food was delicious, The Steak N Mac cheese was good!! The place great looking inside! The theme was cool! Oh And the banana fried cheesecake was delicious. Drinks was strong lol I didn't taste the Ice tea in my long Island. The waitress I had was very confused she took entries first then appetizers food came out backwards. Then had got flustered when getting dessert. Only because the bus boys was taking orders too. Which she had to remind me that she throw food out because we had her confused. I replied to have the bus boy stop asking for orders and then ask us again. That's they're confusion with lack of communication.

Waited for a bit to be seated. Our server (I believe his name was Brian) was pretty meh. He didn't have much of a personality but I guess he was a decent server. I didn't like that his fingers were inside our salad bowl when he brought them to our table and when I asked for lemons he brought them on a napkin 🤢 but beyond that our service was good. The food was pretty good. No complaints. I went with people who know one of the chefs. So it made my expectations high but he hit the mark! I got scallops and many times when you get scallops they're over cooked and chewy but these were cooked perfectly! I would recommend this place for the food!
