China Express Restaurant

Good food, good price. Food pictured is the sesame chicken combo with sweet and sour chicken and egg roll (good price for all this food!) The only thing is that it’s not really flavorful. I asked for the sesame chicken to be made extra saucy so I could use that sauce on the rice, but didn’t receive it. The rice just tastes very plain, and so do the lo mein noodle. However, my fiancé LOVES the teriyaki chicken wings and honestly the sweet and sour chicken was pretty good! Sesame chicken could’ve used more sauce for sure, really sad I didn’t get the extra sauce I was told I’d receive. They also cook your food very fast, even if you don’t pre-order before coming in, you won’t wait more than 20 minutes, and the workers are courteous.

Maybe I have been spoiled but this food wasn't amazing. Virginia isn't capable of good Chinese food but if I had to I would eat this over the others. I would. The crab Rangoon I ate had a cottage cheese in the center look except it was warm. Wasn't impressive. The general tso chicken was soggy and Also not impressive along with the bland "fried rice" .the best thing in that whole platter was the sweet and sour chicken without the dipping sauce. I completely was baffled that they only take cash which is fine so you could have an excuse not to have to experience this to your taste buds. Virginia step your game up.

Lady that ran it retired, new kids are not doing well. First time they charged us more than usual then gave u the wrong order. The second time hubby went the price had almost doubled to $42 for 3 meals. He asked to see the receipt which stated the total was $36 not $42!! Very crooked! We will no longer go here. Went to courtland and the food is better!!!

Normally I go to The Great Wall but since they were closed, we tried this place. Place the order and when I go to pick it up, the kid handling the money said " cash only" so i had to leave and go to the ATM. Came back with two 20's and since I didnt have exact change. They upped it another 56 cents. And they forgot one of my meals. Food was.....ok. Would never recommend this place and will never go there again.

I was pretty disappointed with the service I was rendered. I called to place an order. It felt like I called a household. There was no professional greeting with the restaurant name. I had to ask if it was China Express. The young lady on the phone sounded as if she had an attitude. I had to ask for my total and was not informed about the “cash only” policy. I went to pick up my order to discover that I needed to leave and go to an ATM.😤. The teenager at the counter seemed very irritated and did not offer good customer service at all! I will not be returning here. The food was ok but definitely not good enough to accept poor customer service.
