Taco Daddy Cantina

I had a Taco Daddy burrito, my wife had a fajita salad. The burrito was pretty much tasteless and had the consistency of a thick soup, the salad was rough cut iceberg lettuce with some steak on it and pico. This rating is generous, I didn't try everything on the menu however I'm never going back and recommend staying away unless you're just going in for drinks and chips. Sorry Taco Daddy but you can and should do better

The pricing for the amount of food you get is unreal. Me and my husband split the fajita for one and it was perfect for us. DEFINITELY coming back here again. The staff was very attentive and kind. The food was awesome. The atmosphere was fun. (The picture was taken after we had already each made ourselves tacos) and the salsa was just right.

Stopped here on a beautiful Saturday evening in downtown Frederick with my daughter. The place was fairly busy but we had no wait for a table. We were promptly waited on by Mike. He was excellent and very attentive! My daughter ordered an appetizer, the chicken flautas . I ordered the taco dinner which came with three tacos, rice and beans for $12. Everything was delicious! I was surprised at the decent prices for downtown Frederick and the service was excellent! Will be back soon!

I had my first meal at Taco Daddy today and I very much enjoyed it! I ordered Daddy's chimichanga and it had a perfect blend of flavors that did not overpower my palate. Additionally the rice and beans were well seasoned which was a welcome change compared to other Mexican restaurants that treat those side dishes as an afterthought. I'll finish this review and state the obvious that although everyone's taste is different, I say Daddy's Taco is worth the trip. Good service, thank you Alli, very good food at a very reasonable price! I'll be returning!!

This was my second time at taco daddy first experience was good this time around i came to eat with my son, we waited for our food patiently and we’re there 20mins around the time when a group of young white teenage girls arrived who were sat behind us, the waiter said he would check on our food about 10mins to the girls being seated all 5 of their meals come out steaming hot, we had still not received our food, this made me angry and took everything not to make a seen in The establishment, our waiter finally brings our food which seemed to have been sitting for awhile as it was like warm, i will never give this place any of my businesses again as me a Hispanic man and my son being mixed black felt very uncomfortable, i being as polite as i can writing this review, we didn’t even finish our food i still paid and tipped. Horrible place straight up, luckily I’m a changed man.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU GO: After like 9:00 pm they will charge you to get in to listen to a mid DJ it’s like $10 depending on if the bouncer likes you or not it’s very subjective. They don’t answer the phone. They do not sell food after like 9:00 pm and they stop selling most drinks on menu around after 9:00 as well. So if you’re going for late night things, as that’s what they advertise just know you’re paying about $10 to get in, you won’t eat, and most drinks are not available (the ones that are actually good and strong lol) so you’ll be able to really pay for over priced and iced margaritas and a Long Island. It’s just simply not worth it.
