Marble Slab Creamery

Just for the record, this place is now called Pretzel Creamery. The ice cream is mediocre, which I could overlook because it is so conveniently situated outside of the movie theatre. The thing that earned this establishment the 1 star rating is the rude, disrespectful service I received from the manager on duty. I was trying to explain that my granddaughter wanted one of the shakes depicted on the LARGE, PROMINENT poster mounted on the entry door. In an unnecessarily loud, extremely rude manner, he told me that he can't make a picture, I need to tell him the ice cream flavors. As I started to clarify what my granddaughter was asking for, he shouted over me that he can't make a picture. I took a deep breath, and tried once more for my granddaughter's sake to break down what the shake APPEARED to have in it. When he interrupted me once again, I told him that it would help if he had any familiarity with his product line. He then told me I could buy the shop if I like. I told him that instead, I will just NEVER walk through those doors again. The man was rude, condescending, and completely lacking in any sort of professionalism. I wanted to be certain that no one else will be subjected to the same level of disrespect that I dealt with that day. They will never get another penny of my money. The way he is alienating his customers, I dare say he won't be getting anyone else's for much longer either.

Will never go back to this place. Ordered two smalls and was charged $3.00 for an extra EMPTY cup so my 2 year old could have two spoonfuls of his 4 year old brother's. So for 2 smalls it was $15.00. The owner was very rude and compared his ice cream place to the Tasting Room to justify his 3.00 for an empty bowl. He then told me he'd be happy to let me pay his rent. Do not support this business.

I love going here because of their flavors and mix-ins, but each time it seems like I'm a hassle even though I purposely keep it simple. Also, I was charged for a beverage I didn't buy during a dead period of business and a waffle bowl instead of a cone. I get making a mistake but i paid $9 for an ice cream cone because I was more preoccupied with not dripping my collapsing ice cream cone on the counter and making a mess she'd have to clean up, than I was by the fact that my medium cone was $9. Maybe this is why you guys keep getting bad reviews ✌

It's now called Pretzel Creamery and is up for sale but that doesn't change the fact that this place sucks. I ordered a chocolate shake. There is just a hint of chocolate and 1/3 of my cup is some type of ice milk garbage. I should have walked over to McDonalds, it would have been cheaper and probably tasted better too. Not sure if the bad service is due to the fact it's up for sale or it's noon on Sunday. I try to support independently opens stores instead of chains, turned out to be a bad decision this time.

I wish I could give less than 1 star for my first time visit to this poor managed establishment. I bought one pretzel which came out to be $5.25. I provided the cashier with 10.25 and was given 4.50 back in change. When I told her that she owed me 5$, she gave me an extreme amount of attitude and tried to tell me I was wrong. Then someone whom I guess was the manager came over and continued the to tell me I was wrong. This is simple math. If your going to hire 18 year olds to work for you... make sure they have a diploma. To top it all off the pretzel tastes like it has been sitting in the tray overnight. It is hard as a rock. I would never recommended this place to anyone.

Ice cream was outstanding. Aside from that, nothing else was great. I ordered a single scoop in a waffle cone. Normally, ice cream places fill up the cone portion and then add a scoop on top. Not here. When you order a single scoop, you literally get one single mediocre scoop of whatever flavor you ordered. I should also add it cost me $4.78 for a SINGLE scoop of ice cream. For that price, I should've just bought a half gallon of ice cream from the grocery store.

The ice cream is delicious, but the manager/owner is a d-bag. I just left the store and it took everything in me to continue having a pleasant attitude with him. There was an employee waiting to clock in, and he was pissy to her about where she was allowed to stand so people didn't get the wrong idea about if she was working or being lazy. She then said she was instructed to not sit at the tables when people were in the store, to which the man replied "Only if you're working, and you obviously aren't". Then she walked around the counter, stood by a table, and walked back around and clocked in. She was kind enough to check me out, since I had three orders to go, taking ice cream to the hospital so we could celebrate my husband's birthday with his sister who's currently in the hospital. Then the man fussed at her IN FRONT OF US, about whether or not she should have done it or let the man do it himself. Even putting aside how he treated his employee in front of customers, I wouldn't come back. I asked for to-go lids, so I could put the ice cream in the cooler I had waiting in the car (hospital, remember?), and he then said that he recommends eating it in the store. Well, yeah, I'd prefer to eat it right now too, but I can't. He then proceeds to lecture me about how I'm lucky he even has lids because he may not have had them if it had been summer (it's not summer, it's barely spring), and if we wanted to go ice cream, we should've just got a pint or quart. This man is a complete and total arse, and I refuse to visit and give him my money a second time.

Please read! As all of you know I never post anything but my kids and fun family things...but today I had a very bad experience here at Pretzel Creamery. Mattee and I were doing a little shopping and to treat her I stopped here to get her an ice cream. We went in and she picked out cotton candy ice cream and was super excited. I ask the very nice young lady that was helping us if I could have an extra cup, she happily gave me another. We went to the counter to pay and an older man( which I believed to be the owner) walked up to her and started to yell at her for giving me the extra cup. I was shocked and apologized to the young girl for getting her in trouble... I felt so bad. I told him that I've never been to a place that had a problem giving an extra cup. He stated in a nasty tone that they don't do that here. I again apologized to the young girl that looked like she was going to cry, cause he was repeatedly telling her that they can never give extra cups out. I said in calm voice that I wouldn't be coming back. He said.. get out and I don't want your business never come back!! I handed the ice cream back to him and the extra cup🙄, got my money back and we left. Poor Mattee she was in tears, she just wanted ice cream ☹️please do not support this place, I'm still thinking of the young girl and hope she quit today. Side note Mattee got her ice cream elsewhere.
