Tacos Carlitos

If you’re looking for authentic tacos and food here is the spot! Their tacos are amazing! Love the suadero, nopales, birria queso meats for tacos. The tortas are amazing. Can’t say anything negative about them. They have the most authentic Mexican food in the area. It is family owned and they are very nice people. Highly recommend for authentic Mexican food.

Good food, shame about the poor customer service. I returned because it was just SO GOOD before that last visit and this time it was a pleasure. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. The food was excellent!! I always get a few tacos, I like to mix it up; cabeza, lengua, and nopales y carne asada all with pico de gallo and cilantro. They had run out of tripa or that would be included. I'm adding a star, I love the food, love the menu, next time trying the pescado frita, one of my all time favorites in any Mexican restaurant! Shame it's always tilapia but I still can't resist. And the salsa is excellent especially the habanero salsa picante.

Quite disappointed, ordered Birria taco with dipping sauce, pork rinds taco, and grilled steak. Took about 15 mins for our food to be ready pretty fast considering had 3 people ahead of us. First and foremost every taco we had fell apart, they should at least have two shells to prevent that from happening. Secondly everything was bland and overcooked, the most tasteful thing on it were the veggies themselves but I'd say hard pass and get some taco bells instead.

I work at this mall and I wanted to grab some food on my break. I was In line behind another customer waiting to order, and saw two women who were working there making fun about the customer in front of me for simply asking for extra napkins. I guess they didn’t know I understood Spanish. Very rude, also when I was waiting for my food to be made, the cook touched his face and hair and never washed his hands before handling my food...Disgusting! This is a sorry excuse for any establishment. 10/10 WILL NOT RECOMMEND!!

BEWARE!!! Horrible food, rude and nasty employees. The employees that work there at the Frederick, Md location are extremely rude, and are also impatient with customers due to a language barrier. They seem to get mad at customers because THEY themselves don’t speak no English. Don’t get mad at customers because you don’t take the time to educate YOURSELVES or learn to speak English in a predominantly English speaking country you work and apparently live in. To operate a business successfully in the USA you would imagine that learning the language would help you prosper. I asked if they sold pupasas and from the look on the ladies face she acted as if a papusa was way beneath her level for some odd reason when that’s a very popular Latin food. The food was beyond horrible and you best believe I contacted my credit card company and didn’t pay for it. Poor quality, horrible customer service, unsanitary work environment.

I ordered 2 Birras with the sauce. It was $11.46 on my receipt, but according to my account I was charged $12.31. I waited about 30 minutes for my food. I wasn't irritated about that, but still didn't understand there was only one couple before me. When I finally got my food. There was barely any meat, so I am not sure how the shells were already torn up. That was simply unacceptable. Now I love tacos and Mexican food period so I understand how messy it can get, but I did not even get to pick up the Birria myself and tear the shell. I went back to get a replacement and the owner said hold on it would be a minute. Mind you I was already waiting to even get the first order. I asked for a refund and he said hold on for that. 15 minutes later he gave me$11.46, naw bruh $12.31 just like you charge me. Does anyone know where I can get a better experience and still taste some delicious Birrias? I cannot afford to give my money to this place.
