O'charley's

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants. If you go, don't order steak, baked potato or fried seafood. Steak was to be medium well but came out made on a waffle iron and beyond well done. The seafood was swimming in oil/grease. How do you make dry coleslaw? Why has the quality of the food preparation gone done beyond the bottom of a pit? The only food that remains great are the hot dinner roll. Save your money and go somewhere else.

My wife had a business trip in the area and we wanted something to eat so we stopped into O’Charley’s. I am so glad we did not listen to some of the reviews that was posted. We sat at the bar and Shelly the bartender was so professional and nice. She made a great patron margarita and she made a Hennessy sidecar for the first time and it was great. The food was awesome so over all O’ Charley’s is now on our Togo list. If you area in the area and you see this restaurant check it out for yourself. Oh, I forgot to mention we got free pie on the house.

On my first visit, I ordered their seafood platter. It was a solid meal with a lot of flavour and not overdone. Plenty of parking, safety measures advertised and enforced, pub/bar style menu. Easy place to relax. Not a lot of ambiance or character but the wait staff is phenomenal. Misty, the regular bar tender and server was so amazingly kind and attentive that I've definitely made return trips.

We have come here a few times through the years and have always had a pretty positive experience. This evening we went in and had by far the best waitress I think I have ever encountered. Ashunta was SO sweet and very attentive. We really appreciated her. She made the dining experience great. Food was good per usual. Steak was very good, and our kids enjoyed their food as well.

My family and I have been frequenting O'Charley's restaurant in Fredericksburg, VA lately. I suggest the spinach dip to start off. The Caesar Salad (add salmon) and a side of french fries and share the apple cobbler and ice cream for dessert. You can't go wrong!!! Most of those times lately we have been blessed to have Ashanti as our waitress. She is very attentive and makes you feel welcomed. Her old soul is refreshing. Great place to dine and unwind.
