Cava

As a vegetarian, it's perfect. I'm a big fan of the create your own spots as I get what I need and don't have to be too much of a pain when ordering. They offer various types of rice, lettuce/spinach blends, hummus, proteins and vegetables. You can select a curated bowl or select your own. My go to is the kids pita, comes with half a pita, a side (rice or spinach), one dip, one protein, carrots or half order of pita chips and 3 vegetable toppings. Comes with a drink for under $7.50. Best deal in town. The bigger bowls are usually about $12. The only downside, their parking lot is pretty trash when it's busy. If you can't find a spot it shoots you back onto Plank Rd. Just be aware that you might have to do some maneuvering to actually stay in the lot. They do have a drive through to pick up to go offers and nice outside space and upstairs section to eat.

Always loved The cava franchise.... This I believe is a flagship store, a considerable investment over a traditional restaurant as this is a 2 story venue converted out from a former bank. Back to the topic...The menu is always delicious a fusion of Greek, Lebanese, tailored for a western pallet and a touch or chipotle "fast premium" efficiency... Being Mediterranean fusion, you'll find your lentils and rice, topped with meats, with a variety of pickled toppings. You build you plate as you go down their service line, and your mouth will appreciate the flavors. The ownership takes pride in their service and staff is attentive. The place was clean, and I was impressed t the interior design as I have been to several other locations that are no way this nice. I was equally surprised that they are environmentally conscious as their straws are paper. It is popular being at a prime location, and every parking space was taken. Plan to carpool during peak hours, as the parking lot was not made to support the available seating. I found a new detour spot when I'm in the Fredericksburg area.... You will be satisfied.

UPDATE: still incredible all the way around! This was my very 1st time at Cava, as my wife talked me into the visit. Needless to say I was NOT disappointed but pleasantly surprised. The Place was very clean and was actively abiding by preventative COVID-19 guidelines with signage post throughout. The food looked fresh as tasted wonderful. I went back to the counter mid-meal (dine in) and requested a couple more pita breads and recieved them gratis 😍 from the manager on duty. We left completely satisfied with full bellies. Will definitely repeat visit and highly recommend to others.
