Catfish Haven

Catfish Haven is everything you expect from a Southern catfish house. The pieces are strips, so I recommend ordering at least one more piece than you ordinarily would or get the all you can eat. Everything is reasonably priced. Today’s special was a country fried ribeye. I will try that next time. The coleslaw, catfish, and hush puppies were very tasty. Seating was immediate and the restaurant is located away from the downtown crowds, so easy parking.

The food was tremendous, I do wish they had an a la cart we ordered a whole plate to try the Maui Maui it was amazing, but a build your own plate so u can mix fried and grilled would be nice nice but down to the fries, catfish, large shrimp, fried frog legs, fried oysters, and loaded potatoes it was very very well cooked, we will go back next time we are through!

First time visit to this place and totally by chance. We were interested in some steak and fish, so decided to give it a try. We waited about 15-20 mins, but this was a Friday night at 7. Business was busy and steady. Needless to say, we were shockingly surprised by the homemade food we ordered and eat. Grilled Catfish was very flavorful and the steak fingers were real steak strips hand battered. Had a light butter taste to it too. Onion rings were great too. Food was served in a timely manner with a very busy server, who by the way was practically running to provide service and food. Kudos to you "Rachel", great job. Friendly too. Loved this place and would definitely comeback in the future.

The waitress was very nice very bubbly very Charming personality. She has multicolor hair I'm sorry I do not give her name she did a good job. Orders are mushrooms that are fried or the fried jalapenos it will upset your stomach. They are completely out of stuffed crabs at 5 in the afternoon on a Friday very disappointing. However I did have the crab cakes and unfortunately they have a very fishy taste. I don't believe we would recommend it or go back.
