K-bob's Steakhouse

My husband and I ate there tonight for our 13 year wedding anniversary. We thought it would be a great place seeing that it was packed 2 days prior. We are from the Houston area so we know what steak should be like. First off the hostess didn't greet us. She just looked our way, and put up 2 fingers.....we just said yes, and she walked us to our table. Once there the waitress came up. I can't tell you her name, because she wasn't wearing a name tag and she never introduced herself. She took our drink order and quickly took off. She then returned with our drinks, and was gone again. My husband had to call for her in order for us to order an appetizer. We got our appetizer, and she was gone again. We finally got to order our dinner which he ordered a steak medium, and I got medium well. I also ordered the salad bar. Well she didn't tell me where to get a plate for the salad bar. When only found out when someone else ordered it too. We finally received our food, and both steaks were well done. We tell the waitress, and her response to my husband was that he ordered the steak medium well. He said no I ordered medium and my wife ordered medium well. She walks away. She cones back laughing saying oh yes you did order medium. She was like what do you want me to do.

We had a wonderful dining experience. The food was yummy as usual. The steak was cooked to perfection and went well with a local bottle of wine. The brisket nachos and meatloaf were also scrumptious. Leo, Amber, Marcus, and Brianna gave us the wonderful service we are used to at K-Bob’s in Fredericksburg.

Leo, the manager is very rude. Three out of 9 of our dinners did not get prepared until after everyone else had eaten. The salad bar was out of lettuce. When asked about whom I should talk to, Leo the manager, complained he was doing 10 different jobs and didn’t have time and he would get to it when he had time. He was very rude. If you are in Fredericksburg, do not eat at KBob’s. The Assistant manager had to come adjust our bill because Leo didn’t want to deal with it. The assistant manager was very professional. The server, RC, was professional and tried to deal with the issue in a timely manner but Leo would not help her. We were able to overhear their conversation.

My huddle ordered a margarita. The salt was kinda on the rim. Then the food came it looked amazing .My husband said his broccoli and steak was good. Mine the broccoli casserole was good but way too salty. The fried shrimp the breading fell off when I took a small bite.Ive never not liked fried shrimp. These tasted funny even my husband thought so.My stomach is upset. If you look at my reviews .I'm not a picky person. The hushpuppies and onion rings were average. I sadly wouldn't recommend this place .
