Maharlika is my new favorite spot for Filippino take out! This mom and pop shop is cash only, and take out only. They offer fabulous prices and generous portions. Their signature broasted chicken is incredibly crispy and juicy, a definite rival to other fried chicken places. One of my favorite dishes is the signature pork sinigang- a tangy tamarind soup. We also had the chicken adobo which melts in your mouth. Daily combo plates are only $6.50 and come with two generous items + rice. The owner is super nice, I wish I could adopt him!

I'm from Savannah Georgia where fried chicken is its own food group and let me tell you this made me feel like I was at home and my grandma was cooking her famous fried chicken! Just go and try it.

The chicken is good. However the way they handle customers needs work. They never seem to answer the phone. I have tried calling them during their open hours and they never pick up.Its been like this for the past 3 weeks setting up for holiday parties. Like I said, the chicken is good, but the service and customer handling is poor.

This is the best fried chicken in town! You can’t go wrong. Yes they are sometimes a little slow but Mom and Pop place very Independent! Support the local independent businesses! Best breasted chicken in town!

This restaurant is my favorite. I visit a lot of restaurants but to this restaurant I constantly return again and again. The stuff is very welcoming and the food they serve is so appetizing. I never miss an opportunity to have a good dinner in this place. I recommend this place with pleasure.

I would give it a 4 maybe 5. But those same dirty chairs has been there since I been going there back in 2004. Same dirty cloth chairs. You can see how dirty it is. If you are dirty yourself than you are fine. We never dine in or sit down.
