Merlos Salvadorean Cuisine

This restaurant is amazing! Jimy is amazing, very authentic, and the nachos are great! Unfortunately, the restaurant has a new name and I believe a new owner. I ordered the nachos, they were not that great-I was disappointed. It’s funny how they tasted nothing like Jimys nachos. The pupusas are still good, but it is not the same for me.

I’ve been coming here for almost a year now and even though I’ve moved to the other side of town. I always make it a point to stop here for some delicious Papusas when I’m in the South Bay. It blows my mind how this place isn’t super popular. It makes me happy to see the same familiar face behind the counter ready to take my order. I look forward to many more happy, and delicious, memories made courtesies of Jimy’s restaurant.

Food was great and was a great price as well. Pupusas are $2 a piece.I got the revueltas which are really good. I came on a Saturday and realized that they have a special Mon-Fri. where pupusas are $1 each. I was very surprised at the special and knowing how good they are! The restaurant is VERY clean and the owner takes pride in his restaurant. The owner is very kind and humble, customer service is the best.This is def a top notch hole in the wall. I will def be coming back for more. A+ grade, this is an awesome place to get good a** food at an amazing price! Step up ladies and gents!

Just went to Jimy's for the first time. Searched for the nearest pupuseria and their Yelp reviews were great. And rightfully so. My son ordered a Torta asada. He LOVED it. And I ordered bean and cheese pupusas. Also excellent. And cabbage etc...Que Rico y muy fresca. We will be returnimg to try more on their menu.
