Denny's

Went here last night after church service. The waitress gave all 6 of us the wrong food and tried to switch it over between us after it had been transferred to different people and breathed on by all (Mind you were in a Pandemic 🙄) I politely told her we did not want food that was breathed over it needed to be replaced. Needless to say the poor manager had to replace everyone of our plates because they were breathed on and given to The Wrong person not done correctly or cold when it was given to us !! My son was trying to salvage his by picking off mushrooms onions etc until he realized he had been given someone else’s order! Folks we’re in a pandemic please be careful out here. People are Dieing. We got to help each other stay alive. Needless to say she never apologized or came back to help us. They sent another waitress and I gladly tipped her very well for her time.

Last night we went there for dinner. The waitress who waited on our table was Kimberly. She was amazing and attentive to our table like we were at her home. From the time we walked in we noticed how friendly and courteous she was. She was really awesome to the kids as well. Privately, I had mentioned that it was our friends birthday and asked what she can do to make it special. She said she can bring a cake at the end of our meal. She also said she can put candles if I was able to go get some. I told her that's okay because I didn't want to make it obvious. Later on I noticed she went out. At the end I noticed when she bought the cake it had birthday candles. And she also had purchased a packet of glow bracelets for the kids. 😲Wow!! She actually had gone to the store to get candles and a toy for the kids!! She made our night special. Kimberly, sometimes the smallest things we do can mean a world of a difference to someone. Our friend was totally surprised and we were all really touched by the way Kimberly went out of her way to make our night special. I know that there are nights you will hear complaints and it isn't easy to do what you do... BUT KNOW THIS, you are AMAZING and really special. We really enjoyed our visit and are really thankful for having had the privilege to have you as our waitress. May God bless your for your good heart and positive attitude. Every time I come in this Dennys the employees always smiling and the manager Terrell treats me like family and always have a big smile on his face! I see where his team get it from, such a great environment and the fastest service in town, the food always hot and fresh that’s why I come here several times a week .
