The Cremorne Hotel

Happening place. Older crowd enjoying their afternoon / evening betting and sports. We went for dinner- outdoor seating. Noise level good. Great menu choice and I had it narrowed down to three items and based on my friends exclaimed cry when I mentioned the Pommy Parma, that was set. I delight of chicken schnitzel topped with mashed potato, pies and sausages along with gravy. Nice chips to accompany. Fairly quick service. Friendly. Worth the visit.

My sister's and I were at your hotel today for lunch we all ordered the $20 party it came out well presented but that was where the good stops . The salad was prickly lettuce leaves a quarter of a tomato and a sliver of cucumber the chips were warm as for the parmy quite warm around the outside as we cut into it more barley warm as a result of this we did not eat most of it so we will not be returning to this hotel since covid the care factor has gone out the window not only with this hotel but overall

1 star? Cause don't think you can do ZERO star. Where do I start? Walked in thru back door was greeted with a patrons dog better than the chic behind bar, not sure if she wanted to be there. Ordered two (entree) nachos to share between 3 people. $26 EA!!! Came out with "plates are hot" from staff with zero personality. Couldn't even see the nachos for the paddock of garnish on top! And what's with the radish on nachos, doesn't sound like Mexican to me. The two tiny dishes of sour cream and guacamole . I don't know where they sourced the guac from, but I couldn't even describe the taste or lack of it. I think it came from a jar or from Mars??? It was green but didn't taste at all like guacamole. Don't know how you can get nachos wrong but the Cremorne pub achieved that. No wonder the place was empty. There was two tables to serve and couldn't even take away empty plates. Yeah, nah from us. Not worth it !!!!

My partner and I came here as we were in Geelong for the weekend to watch the footy, he has been wanting to go to the cremorne for so long so we were really excited. Disappointed is an understatement which made us sad. Being a Saturday night, we knew it would be busy so we expected a bit of a wait & we were happy to wait a little for a good feed. BUT Booking was at 5:30pm, we waited an hour for food then asked the waitress how much longer it would be as we have been waiting for a while. She comes out about 5 minutes later with our meals which was a parma & a steak. Chips were soggy & cold, steak was actually cooked perfectly, the coleslaw had the strangest aftertaste ( fishy like ), Parma was just luke warm & again soggy cold chips. We weren’t going to say anything as I don’t like to complain, but if you’re going to have a small pub menu at least cook the food well. After this, would sadly not recommend!
