Ferguson Plarre Bakehouse

My husband and I visit the Geelong West store most sundays and are normally very happy with service there but today ( 12/6/22 ) we encountered a very rude staff member. She stated that they were only doing takeaway when I ordered our coffees which we accepted, but when we had ordered and paid for our food, it was served in paper bags and when we asked for a knife to cut our pasties, we were told we couldn't have any as she was there on her own and had no time to do any washing. It was not busy and she was standing idle for some of the time we were there. I would add that most times we are there, there is only one member of staff and we are served with plates and cutlery. My husband asked hiw we were meant to eat our lunch with no cutlery and was told "I don't control the way the world is now and we were welcome to take our food home to eat it. " Customer loyalty obviously doesn't mean much to some businesses any more. Won't be returning there for a long time, that's for sure. Bad form.

Terrible service. Ordered the $10 special on the front board.. was charged $12.40. I pointed out the special, price was revised to $10.50...still overcharged. Couldn’t be bothered arguing so I paid it. Bacon & egg sandwich was stone cold so I sent it back to be reheated..It came back a sloppy mess. Cold food..cold service..won’t be back!

Love love love this little bakehouse 😍❤ The ladies working are amazingly nice and always put a smile on your face! Often stop in to get a coffee and cookie or get a coffee delivered, coffee always has a little note written on it to brighten your day ❤ Best costumer service in Geelong -Chyneese Freeman❤
