Man Bo Restaurant

I’ve been going to man bo for some time now and had a wonderful lunch there the other day. The new owners are kicking goals w some tweaks to the menu leading to a smaller but more more focused selection. The plates are tastier, and more complex which for me justifies the slight increases in some prices. The staff were very kind and efficient. Tidy little cocktail list and plenty of wines to suit all palates. Can’t wait to come back and try the dim sum one day soon. Keep it up team!

Attended Man Bo on Thursday night. Very happy with the food, wine and staff. The menu has a mix of new dishes and classics, the favourites for us being the prawn toast, quail and smashed cucumber. The "small" fried rice was easily enough for two and was delicious with what appeared to be quality ingredients. The service was prompt and food delivered in a timely manner. Rebecca was a friendly staff member who was most attentive and knew the food well. Will definitely be back to try different menu items.

Booked online a few hours prior for 13 people. We were greeted by the manager who gave us attitude about short booking notice (2 hours), as if we manage their online booking system. The place was completely empty yet we were told we cant stay long. Really disappointing start which got worse due to the menu being reduced substantially and another visit by the manager to say "sorry no alterations and to expect delays in service" We were the only people in the restaurant😂. Food came at all different times (some guests waiting 30 minutes after first main arrived) the food was not at the level it was from previous experiences. We surely won't be back and I'd suggest an alternate career for the manager who created such a poor experience for us.

My wife and I have been there many times in the past and thoroughly loved it. The menu has changed. Very disappointing. We spent hundreds last night not again til they change the menu the way it was. Oh well after that reply good luck. No hope in hell after you changed your last reply. Have already spoke to other family and friends same opinion. We found it nowhere near as good than previous menu . Good luck!
