Love stopping here. Service is always great. Food is excellent, love the pizza and the carrot cake is amazing. We stop here often and will always recommend it to people

Road side Deli is the most amazing stall at the foot of the Outeniqua mountains. Very nice pizza and a large variety of food stuff and deli products. It is definitely a must stop.

Their carrot cake is among the best I've ever had, and their pizzas were pretty good too!
I had a slice of the Valley Classic pizza and really enjoyed the texture. You could really taste the wood used in the pizza oven, which is a good thing.
The carrot cake is worth taking, even if you're on a diet, you can't miss out on it. It's not too sweet but just the right level of moist, I would consider going there in the future, just for a slice of that delicious world class carrot cake.
Would definitely recommend for a day out of the house with the great atmosphere, kind staff, and delicious food.

A must visit when traveling through the Outeniqua pass. They make the best pizzas. Thin crusty base with a generous amount of fresh toppings.

Best pizza we have ever eaten in South Africa. You have to stop here. Its just out side George at the top of the Outeniqua Pass before the turning to Oudshoorn. This is a taste of Italy at a cute padstal. Love this place. Service was excellebt too. Very popular.

Salami, feta & cheese with herbs (added garlic) subway. I enjoyed this more than the pizza (but the pizza is also great) both great for a quick bite. Food constantly good. Great sitting outside. I saw groups of people bringing their own wine (which the delicious don't sell).

- Shop is next door with wine selection.

Considerations:
- Covered parking limited and might be an issue for low clearance vehicles.
- Limited indoor seating.
Personal Experience:
- The pizza and sub were second to none.
- Ingredients were fresh and the base was cooked to perfection.
- No real wait for our food even though it was a bit busy.
⭐️ A perfect stop on the way to or from George or Oudtshoorn to get some food or a snack.

The shop is full of goodies - rusks, jams... Next door is the best pizza in the area! Great ingredients, freshly made, perfect bases...
There is a good play area.
We have spent many hours here making great memories!
