I think this is nothing but simply a hidden gem of the city! Food quality is top notch. It's a shame that a cell phone can't make a good picture to tell how delicious it is. My recommendation? Masala, Saag are the two you should not miss. The drink to go along with your meal? Lassi is the natural pick. Otherwise, any beer or wine. Lastly, I have to add that the services are very good, prompt and cosy.

Went here recently and was very pleasantly surprised. The food was was good and although a limited choice of menu everyone in our party enjoyed their different main dishes. The service was excellent and the Kingfisher was on tap. Always a bonus! Give it a go as restaurants like this deserve to thrive.

First time ordering tonight; pakora and curries were excellent (Fish Mappa and Vegetable Jalandhri). Deducted one star as the garlic naan was uncooked and more like a flatbread, not a doughy naan. Very dry and chewy, and the garlic topping appeared to be a spread, so we chucked it. Called to let them know and they were very nice, offered to send a replacement which we declined. Will definitely order again but won’t order the naan bread.

We have had four take away meals from here since it opened as we live across the road and the delicious smell coming out is absolutely wonderful. The staff are friendly and it always looks like a most congenial atmosphere when I go to collect my order. The food is fantastic, I especially like the chicken saag and the biryanis is absolutely gorgeous. The proprietor is just such a lovely man. I wish them every success in this venture, but I am sure that when people try the food they will be back for more.

Hadn’t intended to go for an Indian tonight but the restaurants we would usually goto were full. Sunny weather has brought everyone out. I’m glad they were or we would have missed out on an amazing meal. This place was quite quiet but should be full to capacity! Staff were delightful and the food was five stars. Definitely up there as one of the best Indian restaurants in Glasgow. I thought I’d say this before Tam Cowan says so (spotted him picking up a menu!) Thoroughly recommend 29 States and will be back again soon.

Delighted to see an Indian Restaurant in Broomhill at last! Staff were so lovely, food was great. Vegan curry was lovely, delighted to such a variety of vegetables on the plate and owner said he would be happy to make anything I liked. Music to a vegan's ears. We will definitely return. Thank you so much.
