Stopped by and got the lunch special. The naan in particular was really soft and delicious, would recommend!

Relax atmosphere with a canteen set up...but don't be mistaken, the food and service is 100% on the money. Don't bother ordering poppadoms and chutneys if you're ordering a starter...it comes as standard. Awesome! Highlight of my dinner was the Lamb Malaidar. Imagine a spicy Saag Baji with big chunks of slow cooked lamb... absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend.

Excellent food and great service! This has to be the best Indian restaurant in Glasgow. The staff are extremely professional and take good care of you. The restaurant has great ambience and atmosphere. All the food from starters to desserts were well made, portion sizes were generous unlike other upscale places and tasted amazing.Overall 10/10!.

Brilliant visit.
The food was amazing value and quality.
The naan bread was probably the freshest and best I've ever tasted.
Also the staff were absolutely fantastic, I can't remember the guys name however we had a really nice chat and I felt really welcome and comfortable.

We are so delighted with the food and service we got at Bantawala restaurant. We were here for three days and we came to have our dinner all the evenings.I would highly recommend to try their masala tea (best Indian tea). Dylan thank you for making our trip more special with excellent taste of India. We will definitely visit again once come back to Glasgow 😊

Absolutely delicious food! The staff were really attentive and happy to recommend dishes. The curries were so flavoursome and not too heavy. Will definitely be back.

Stumbled across this restaurant whilst having a stroll on Byres road.
Amazing lunch menu and we were stuffed and satisfied.
Korma was delicious and so was the Tikka.
Chicken pakora was so yummy, and the tamarind dip was so good that you could’ve had it as a soup.

Decided to go for a ruby in Glasgow yesterday and I'm so glad I picked this place to eat - food was perfectly cooked and fresh and you can see from the photo attached that (short of licking the plate) efforts were made to ingest every last item of food laid before me. Decided to go for a more authentic Indian dish this time - Malai Kofta (which I enjoyed in various places I visited in India circa 20 years ago) and this was every bit as mouthwatering - pilau rice too and one of the most perfectly cooked naans I've ever had
While I was sitting another customer got served a Masala Dosa which I also used to eat in India and it also looked pretty authentic and well prepared
The staff were also really nice as they almost always are and I always enjoy talking to them about India and stuff - this time was unusual though as the waiting staff were all female and I'm struggling to recall ever being served by a female waitress in an Indian restaurant - not even in India ?
Looking forward to hopefully eating here again 👍
