I wont post the pictures because they wont do the food justice. By the time we had walked back to the office, the steam had condensed in the packaging and made the bread soggy and damp. (maybe something too look at is toasted buns, or different packaging for take away, to stop this happening). That aside, I had the chicken burger, which was really nice, chicken was tender, tasty and exceeded what I expected, I was advised they had no avocado left, and were happy to replace with salad, again the lettuce was fresh, and tasty, as was the cucumber and tomato. my colleagues both had hot-dogs which again they enjoyed, however they again suffered the same plight, soggy bread. I'd certainly go back again.

Had a great Scottish breakfast here for my birthday. Was a great choice: the food was all of the highest quality and the service was great.

Since walking past on the commute to work it looked really inviting from the outside all be it small. The food was really tasty and the menu wasn't too big but had a good selection. One star away due to small portion sizes and a lack of alcohol license, which are really minor negatives to be fair.

This compact burger joint has a menu stretching beyond your humble burger. The burgers themselves have adventurous toppings and styles and there is a good choice of sides. As I said, it's a compact place so you'll be lucky to get a seat - but if you do I think you'll enjoy this hidden gem.

We received a voucher for smoak bbq as a present and decided to try it out as we are big foodies. Definitely do not regret it! I had the classic burger which was amazing, could taste the "smoaky" flavour. The waitress was happy enough to carry out requests of alterations I made to my burger which is always a big plus as some places do not. My partner had the double bass burger which was also amazing and the bacon was cooked perfectly. We asked the waitress to recommend one of the sides and she said to definitely try the poutine. I've never tried it before but I'd go back for it it was so good. The reason I wouldn't give this five stars is it is very cramped, the decor is lovely mind you! I can only imagine what it would be like of it were busy! The girl that served us was lovely, didn't catch her name sadly. Will be returning.

Food was amazing (get the ribs). Staff were friendly and with the byob policy it's a cheap night, just pop into Tesco before hand :D Although I felt that they want you to leave sharpish after the meal - which is understandable because your basically just using their table as place to get smashed on your own drink. :)

Good lunches, good value £6 menu and tasty food. No alcohol licence and the £2.50 corkage charge seems a bit harsh if you are only planning on having a couple of beers. Enjoy the delicious brisket and chicken with a jug of water then go to the pub afterwards.

I ate at Smoak on a Thursday evening as part of a table for two. We'd booked through a voucher deal, which was good value for money. The umami burger that I had was excellent - good quality ingredients and well prepared too. The restaurant is BYOB and so if you fancy a drink remember to bring it along with you (something that I forgot to do). Overall, Smoak is up there with some of the other top burger places in Glasgow, which is no mean feat!

Good BBQ food, we had the shared platter with a side of poutine (which was very tasty). It's bring your own bottle but with BBQ it would be good to have some decent craft beer to go with it. Service was excellent, very friendly and prompt. Inside it's not massive so nice and cosy but this does mean it can get quite busy quickly. Great addition to Glasgows BBQ scene.
