This a beautiful cozy little place! Staff are lovely and food is super tasty as well as their hot drinks! My only complaint would be that a lot of the menu options are no longer available, which made it difficult for a person like myself who's fussy.

Where to start. Quirky look with old styled individual decor. From the sprinkler system pipework lighting to the suitcase wall coverings. Service was fantastic and the food was amazing, cooked right in front of you was all fresh and very tasty.

Lovely little cafe in the arches under central train station. Only small but service was good and quick. Food was lovely.

A small and cozy cafe serves delicious food. It's tugged within a row of small shops and cafes, all right below the train platform of Glasgow Central Station. Rumbling sound from passing trains, quirky decor, and warmly lit interior make this cafe stand out in an otherwise darkened area because of the overhead platform. Besides great food and a cozy ambiance, Cafe's highlight, for me, is the super friendly and welcoming owners. "Uncle" proudly showed me the backroom kitchen where he prepares the massive shawarma early in the morning, everyday. Highly recommend.

Hidden on Argyle in the tunnel beneath the tracks, you will feel the rumble of train cars overhead as you devour the great tasting chicken kabob, surrounded by an eclectic interior design that takes you back in time, with early 20th century cameras, suitcases and books. The staff are polite, and even made me laugh with an affable "Glasgow!" remark after they had to step outside to break up a street altercation. The loft seating provides a restful place to watch the activity below, and the unique wooden tables up there add to the ambiance. You won't regret trying Cafe Sono.

Was looking for a place to try a traditional Scottish Breakfast and Cafe Sono had the best reviews so I stopped by to give it a try, and I’m so glad I did! Everything was so delicious (couldn’t get enough of the square sausage!) and very reasonably priced. I paid £10 for the fry up and a double shot latte, you can’t get that anywhere else. The vibe of the place is really cool and the service was excellent as well. If you are looking for a delicious Scottish breakfast and tasty coffee, this is your spot!

I was excied to visit this place, finding a good Kebab shop in Glasgow is near impossible. So was I impressed? I'd read great reviews, big portions etc. but I found quite the opposite. A £7 donner should fill, leaving you feel satisfied, not dissappear down you gullet in double quick time. Its size comparable to an appetiser at a wedding. But it tasted great yeah? It tasted fine, some home made chilli sauce as opposed to those standard squirty bottles would have helped but all rather standard fare. I give it 4/5 as they were so friendly but the food was an average 3/5. The hunt for the perfect Glasgow donner Continues...

Hidden gem you can easily walk by without knowing how good it is. Generous portions for a very reasonable price. A traditional fry up is extremely filling and really sets you up for full a day of travel. The service is top notch as well. Thank you! I love the unique decor. You can really feel the history in this place.

This is such a fun and unique restaurant! The food is absolutely fantastic, and the atmosphere is super fun. You can tell the building is old, and it has tremendous character. We sat up top (just note the steep stairs) and watched the food being made from above. We had such a fun breakfast here! Pro Tip: Just note that if you sit up top, the smoke from the food rises so you'll likely smell like breakfast food the rest of the day!
