My mum and dad highly recommended this restaurant so for fathers day the whole family and i went. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was out of this world! Great atmosphere! We have been back twice since and recommended to all our family and friends. Thanx clay oven its the best eating place in shawlands!

We had a takeaway, which isn't the norm as this is a restaurant but worth it -
Better menu than the one in Fenwick road, maybe more expensive, the tikka dishes from the 'oven clay' section are unique. Worth the prices and very tasty.

I really like the Clay Oven but was confused. The Clay Oven Baby Chicken this time was bright red whereas the other two times I've had it it was normal roast chicken colour. Still delicious. Was it Tandoori chicken? I don't know. Think I preferred it the original way. Still a great restaurant with excellent service. Also BYOB a great asset.

First visit. Made to feel so welcome. Staff very attentive and food was absolutely delicious and very very reasonable. Will definately be back.

Booked as a large party last night with two children. Staff could not have been better. Really friendly and accommodating. Food was lovely and we were definitely not hungry when we left! Good atmosphere and great value for money. Would definitely go back.

first time in the clay oven shawlands but definitely won't be the last. Food was absolutely amazing and the staff were very knowledgeable about the menu, the recommended butter chicken was spot on and the king prawn jalfrezi was delicious
