Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill

My husband and I had the chateaubriand at the restaurant at 15.30 pm today. It was a terrible afternoon. The service was the worst we have ever had. No one asked us if our food was what we wanted. Our wine was not poured for us and no one asked if it was what we wanted. We were seated at a table at the middle of the room and I wanted to setat the side tables but was told the restaurant was fully booked and no. When we left nine of the tables had been used. We had no service at all. Dreadful time. We complained to one of the staff when we left as there was no wateiter we could see. Terrible terrible time

I was there 1 year ago but was disappointed. Back when they guaranteed food would arrive in 15mins. But lately that has gone. And they have great burgers! The frys were perfect! Just my favorite burger place in Glasgow. However you might be waiting for the food for 30mins during lunch. So order asap when you get there! Looking at others comments, I have been there 3 times in 2 months. The same burger was consistent and so. Were the fries. The fries at Spanish butcher were not cooked enough and oily. I have also been there 3 times before giving up on them. But They gave 4/ 5stars ratings. Weird

To start with I absolutely love Marco Pierre White! So when I saw all the pictures of my man up on the wall I was in heaven. The whole experience lived up to my expectations. Staff and Service was fabulous as was the food. Compliments to the chef. My husband who has cooked for the Queen and the Queen Mother said it was the best steak he has eaten in Glasgow, which is praise for the restaurant as obviously his standards are extremely high. There were 4 of us in the party and everyone was so full of praise and we all had a great evening. It is extremely rare for everything to be so good in a restaurant from the service, staff, food and drink. Well done everyone and we will be back, hopefully next time Marco might be there but I think I can probably dream on! Thank you. Trisha

Excellent T-Bone, nice staff, great building, not pretentious . £27.00 for a 16oz T-Bone is not too bad. Service was very attentive without being overbearing. Informed us of a good deal on steak fillet, which we didn't choose, but was nice to be offered. Food was very nice, remember it's a Steakhouse, so not posh, but certainly high end
