Tantrum Doughnuts

There were 3 vegan ring options (21/07/23): Peanut butter, Lemon drizzle, Hazelnut praline. I got hazelnut praline ring. The doughnut itself had a buttered toast taste. It was more savoury than I’d have liked but it’s always nice to have a vegan option. Partner is non-vegan and really liked the crème brûlée doughnut.

I cannot stop thinking about the Tantrum donuts I ate yesterday. I literally carried them round shopping with me all day and had them when I got home at 11pm 😆 You cannot make a wrong choice when you choose flavours. They are all spectacular. Check out the sugar coated ring donuts too, they’re different, light and exquisite. My substantially filled donuts had a rich chocolate creamy custard in one and rhubarb and custard in the other. Yum! And there was still enough donut for them not to feel overfilled. The almond ring donut had subtle undertones of nutmeg and felt like it was from an ancient, magical recipe of the Gods! It’s an out of this world experience and if I didn’t live two hours away in the depths of the countryside I’d be back for more today! Thank you for your wonderful creations Tantrum! Place is grate for doughnuts (creme brylle the best), one of the best in Glasgow. 🥇 Very quick service. Minus for card payment only and not much space for queue. Sometimes 4 people can make enter to the shop difficult. Ps. Sometimes, you can have dog treats for free, but it depends on the stuff if they propose it. 🐶 I recommend that place.

Absolutely lovely donut shop with a unique range of favoured donuts at varying but reasonable prices! Bought the original almond butter cream donut for £1 and it was so worth it. Donut felt denser than most stores but I like it like that anyways- the dough wasn't dry and was super flavourful, would 100% come back for more x
