The restaurant was pretty cold, so most people were wearing jackets throughout their meal. The food was very tasty, and there were some really unusual dishes, like pigs feet & pigs intestines, if you're feeling adventurous.
Worth noting that they only accept cash payment.

It's the Chinese restaurant I came for the most time. Because the landlady here is really friendly and hospitable, which makes me feel free to stay here for a lunch.

Can be hard to find authentic northern Chinese style food in Glasgow so TastEast is a must for those looking to aboid the usual cantonese style dishes. The noodles were excellent and the guobaorou is pretty nice as well. All in all the food is very similar to that in the North of China with less of the sweet, anglicised junk you get at most of the chinese restaurants here.

Excellent food - this is a west-end contender to KaKaLok. The food here is more Chinese than Cantonese but the flavours are good and the food is tasty and fresh. If you like KaKaLok, give this place a try.

Best szechuan beef I’ve had in along time. Portions are great value too! Highly recommend for when you’re feeling lazy and need a takeaway 👌
