Frankie And Benny's Glasgow Fort

1st visit today Saturday October 28th 2023. Restaurant was busy but we were attended to immediately and seated. Table was spotless and were ordered food and within minutes it had arrived at the table. Couldn't fault it. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was really good. Staff very friendly. Would recommend 👌

Visited Glasgow Fort for a pre Christmas wander, braving the cold smurry rain. Popped into F & B for a bite to eat. Taken to our table very quickly by friendly staff. Perused the menu and I selected the 2 x 6 Oz double bacon cheeseburger with fries and my better half picked the tagliatelle with chicken and nduja. We also ordered a coupe of cokes to wash it down. Our meals came very quickly and were hot, great portions and very tasty. The pasta sauce had a nice kick to it and there was so much eating in my cheeseburger meal. Prices were very good and we left full and happy to continue our shopping expedition.

A nice lunch. . For starters . My lunch companion ordered the loaded bacon and cheese potato skins, he attested to them being delicious. . I opted for Chicken goujons, always a winner. Crisp, tender, and a beautiful dipping sauce. . Onto the mains. My companion had a hankering for fish and chips, we joked that it was a small portion. However he was happy with the freshness of the fish and crunchy batter. We hadn’t mentioned the portion size to anyone in the restaurant, it was unexpected however welcome when an additional slice of fish was delivered by the server. . I decided to try the BBQ Cheese Chicken Wrap, fantastically moreish. I was disappointed when it came to an end.
