Blue Lagoon Fish & Chips (gordon St)

The place was nice, and the service was top-notch! We came in to ask if the gravy has pork or not, and the staff said its halal!! We went in to dine in, waited for a while as the waitress was on another table, but then another waiter came to get our order and he asked if we want the fish cooked halal or normal way which I thought was very thoughtful cuz I myself didnt think that far, but big kidos for the waiter to care on their customer!! The food was perfect, fresh and filling. Love it! Would def go back again for the food n service😁😁😁

Popped in here for a pretty late night snack after a 10 hour train journey to full me up after no eating all day. The gentleman that served me was extremely pleasant and welcoming and got a well deserved tip upon me leaving. Had the double jumbo sausage & chips and it was really nice, all done in really nice lit up restaurant. Thanks to all the staff, I will return 👍

Good food and great service from our friendly, attentive waitress, Nicolle. The restaurant is modern and spotlessly clean including the toilets. A lively, welcoming atmosphere reminiscent of fish restaurants of a bygone era, it was a an excellent choice for our lunch. We chose the two fish, fish tea option with a side order of mushy peas, and substituted the bread and butter for a roll and butter. The generous portion was perfectly cooked and well presented. All in all, a good experience and we'll definitely be back, oh - and the bill for 2 of us sitting in totalled £21.40. Great value these days.

If you are ever near Glasgow Central and you fancy a fish supper, The Blue Lagoon on Gordon Street (outside the main station entrance) is a must! The service was top-notch, and every bite of the food was cooked to perfection. I had 1 battered and 1 breaded fish, mushy peas, chips and the curry sauce…..delicious.
