Toffee Apples Tearoom

First time visit today. A lovely wee place and busy so I'm glad I phoned ahead to book. Two adults, two children - every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our food. The 6 year old loved the homemade mac and cheese and wanted to try all of the cakes (he settled for the Victoria Sponge and demolished his very generous portion). Both children want to return and I agree - I will be back.

Fabulous Halloween afternoon tea. Fabulous food, cakes, scones. Endless top up coffee and tea. Fabulous staff. Attentive but not in your face. Will definitely be back bringing more people. They really need to experience this. Not your commercialised afternoon tea. Simply quaint, china teacups and great home baking. This place is a treasure never to be lost.

Ordered the High Tea in a Box deljvery for some friends coming over that I hadn't seen before lockdown- and what an absolute treat! Every single thing in the box was delicious, fresh, moreish, beautifully presented - just perfect in every way. Couldn't fault it so find any excuse to order one in! 10/10. Yum!!

What a delightful evening at the supper club tonight, atmosphere and food were absolutely fabulous, it was so chilled and relaxed .....the service was like clockwork and the staff are just the best. I feel so lucky that I can walk to this hidden gem, no waiting for taxis and no rush for buses. I love supporting local business too. The fact it is in Rutherglen does not detract from the quality and quantity of food, it is high quality food on offer, better than most places 'up the Town' and so much more reasonably priced, Go along and see for yourselves, you won't regret it I promise.
